What about Qsat's user friendliness?

Very user friendly. If you get used to it, you will wonder how you have been coping with strong. Strong needs to step up their game.

Let me give one example
I want to access YouTube on both decoders with Iets say a wifi adapter and I have three devices eg a phone, a tablet and a router that normally have internet access.
The Qsat or any Sunplus decoder can store all three wifi passwords and can be changed to the particular connection whenever I want to use any of the three devices hotspot.
On strong, you have to keep editing the passwords anytime you change the hotspot connection.

I was in my friend's place that uses Qsat sometimes early last year and he did blind scanning on nilesat I was like... wow, this is awesome. The blind scanning was done within one minute. Emmaachile is right...the love we have for Strong receivers have blinded us to the extent that most of us doesn't believe on other product. I bought my SRT4950H thinking that it has the same capability with Qsat aside from descrambling of encrypted channels but it was never the same. With the exclusion of illegality on Qsat, Strong product are still bomboi to Qsat even though that I don't have it. The only dislike I have for Qsat is it's user interface.

Actually my work schedule has made me become conservative. More so, the provision of Dst* by my co. has made me spoil-rotten.
For argument purposes, I'll find this Qsat and try it for 3days to draw my conclusions. Thanks to Emmaachile, Odilebe and Dlee for sharing your experiences

sorry to say, buying decoder you take into account the ruggedness, durability adaptability, and the ability to get repair parts, and a decoder that will also stand the test of time, putting all this together qsat is not a match to strong,

I've seen people share strong decoder software here for free, and also strong can as will be upgraded with another strong decoder of same make, but I have know how much some of us have made upgrading qsat decoder, so in terms of software availability qsat is not a match, to strong and how long can a qsat last? power fluctuations is a perpetual risk to qsat, also for those who are into installation how many of you are bold enough to use qsat decoder as your constant tracking Decoder? both nearly all of you installers if not all installers use strong decoders for tracking, but at the end it boils fine to choice of the user, I'm not saying qsat is bad but come any day or time strong always be my first choice why others follow

..there are many reasons for producing softwares for a receiver...most softwares are used for fixing errors made by a manufacturer or to fix bugs! aside from other plugins..if you keep receiving constant updates for fixing bugs on a receiver etc! then manufacturer have sold unfinished product to the market!and you have too many bugs to worry about!some softwares can even contain bugs..so it not actually a bad thing if you don't have softwares always available for a particular receiver!some peeps don't even know all about softwares..just for upgrade sake!

In the meantime without using a working tp on a motorised dish can any strong receiver find new sat just by observing the signal strength of the receiver..that is another good quality of qsat!..

Qsat has a lot of upgrade and very stable though not compared to Strong's weekly updates. The latest strong 4922a with 1.72p is still not stable with lan with almost weekly updates since last year! Qsat has updates about once in six months and it's stable.
I have a minix4 decoder that has an update once in two years and is extremely stable.

The truth is I have been using my Qsat for two years and it has never developed a single problem. Even if it has one, the parts are available everywhere. It's just a visit to the radiolink.

On this issue of comparing Qsat wit Strong Decoders, i want to contribute with my little experience.
To me, Qsat is better than Strong decoder in terms of funtionbility, compactibility, durability and flexibility.
Theres a habit that Strong decoders exhibit. Sometimes when u switch it on, it will automatically display OTA(Over The Air) Upgrade which when interupted by public power supply, gets your decoder fried. Qsat never does that.
All Qsat decoder accept biss keys but not d same with strong decoders because some may accept and some doesn't.
There are other inherent funtions in Qsat that Strong don't have.
The only disadvantage i find in Qsat is that, the SQ is lower than compared to strong.

Talking of durability and ability 2 repair by many technicians strong is d best,from experience i once use tlink 900hd as advance as d decoder is nobody was able 2 repair it,i had 2 buy 2 in a yr and all develop fault b/4 six mnt of life and i had 2 run away from tlink since then,d two is still in alaba as i'm writg.for qsat same issue of repair and durability i have 2 at home and no one has been able to repair it meanwhile i have 3 strongs,d mpg2,4669x and 4922a and all is still working uptill now and d list in age is 2yrs,d mpg2 that mytv started with is still with me working,so strong all d way

qsat does not have RF-out so that's another plus for 4922a, qsat only release update software when Dstv upgrade their system, so the only time you are expecting to get a new version software is when you hear that Dstv have upgraded their network, now string releases update software base on the needs of the customer and not just only for fixing bugs as claim by some hear, every device is a hard ware but it is software that give the hard ware like, software also carry more functionability so I remember a time I needed my decoder for perform more on USB media player all I need to do was to look for the software to achieve that for me, so strong is like a box were the user decide how it should function for him or her all by the software you choice to run your decoder with, and mind you for those complaining that when you put on some strong at times it shows OTA. download, 99.9% of any strong decoder could be fake and a genuine strong decoder will hardly show that except in extreme cases, when buying strong make sure it's original and not fake decoder because it is those who have fake decoder that faces the problem of strong, because of the virus some of the service provider normally used to attack fake strong product, for example when multi Tv sends an upgrade to increase their system performance all fake strong decoder decoder put on at that point in time will be hit, that's when you have OTA. displayed on such decoder, when you have original strong you have no cause to worry,
