dere5: Hehehe, this was the mighty battle between Babababy (if my memory serves me well) and co last year before the tsunami. As he said then, your Visa just needs to be valid till you land at a US border for an officer to stamp you in. How long he stamps you in for is based on his discretion. |

slimwendy85: Had to do UPS ground shipping to Houston and then got it shipped from Houston to nigeria. I used Honts Global. Cost from Houston to nigeria was about $4.5 per pound. Ups ground shipping cost from elpaso to Houston varies per box size and weight.. On the average $25 per box. 1 Like |

Girlmummy: Try Dr Fares Diabakerli he's at Hackensack umc mountainside new jersey. Dr Agu chikezie he's at Robert wood Johnson Somerset but I found this to be really expensive. Dr Fares on the other hand is affordable, my only concern is with the hospital. The reviews on the hospital got me worried. But then a nairalander just used this place but I'm still waiting for her response as I would really love to hear from her personal experience at Hackensack @favouredB. There's also St Peters university hospital new brunswick you can Google Dr's there. hope this helps. |

Airpure: Well, most people do the glucose screening test only. A glucose tolerance test is only done if the glucose screening test showed possible gestational diabetes. For the screening test u don't need to starve. U need to eat as usual. You will be given a glucose solution to drink and blood collected after an hour and tested. If you show possibility of gestational diabetes only then will you be required to do the glucose tolerance test which is usually a 3 hour test. With this, you will need to starve for atleast 8 hours and blood sample will be collected upon arrival. You will be given an oral glucose solution and blood samples will be collected every hour for the next 3 hours. So you need to know if you actually need to do a glucose tolerance test. If you haven't done the screening yet then you need to do it first. |

Nasadiva: Just get into US before it expires. A visaa only takes you to the border. A CBP will stamp you in for 6mths from when you entered US, it doesn't matter when you enter, just as long as you get to the border before expiry date. |

dittobaby: Apologies for late response, on the room no issues you would get your room, the tax fee is one time and you are entitled to tax refund after month which would be added to your bill if you are extending your stay. you can pm me one you book a room and you start staying ,you would be asked if you are extending so be rest assured no issues 1 Like |

Hi house, how's evryone doing and how are your Bumps and Lo's. My mum wld be going for her interview Alone Soon, purpose is to help me and also handle my 2 year old( this wasn't asked while filling the application), bt she applied for B1/B2 visa. She has been to several other countries too. What are the most likely questions thy would ask her. Wat are the documents she should go with. Do I go with her for the interview? Or she only allowed to go alone? Thnk you in advance |

Please, I and my wife just completed our ds-160 form. But I noticed some contents are different in the forms. 1. My form asked for details of education, previous and present work experience while her own only gave an option of only present employer. 2. My form asked of places we intend visiting while in usa but there wasn't such on her own form. 3. My form asked for airline details, arrival n departure while her own form only asked how many days or wks does she want to stay. Please what could be the problem?? Thanks |

mamanjai:Are u sponsoring her?if so,u need to put ur statement of account in her document,n let her go with your passport or a photocopy of your data page, and also tell her to tell the interview that she helps you takes care of your baby here in nigeria. That was the only question I was asked wen I went wt my mum,I was asked if I was sponsoring her n I said 'Yes'.The only document I was asked for is my Passport.she scan thru it and ask her to come back for her visa.I hope this helps |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by mamanjai: 8:49am On Feb 28, 2015 |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by Shawbabe: 9:14am On Feb 28, 2015 |
mamanjai: Likely questions could be: 1) Does she work? 2) Where? 3) Who is sponsoring her? 4) Where will yall be staying/your medical details? 5) Duration? I don't think they'll let u go with her to the interview, except she needs u as an interpreter or something like that. I think giving her copies of your Dr and hospital arrangements, accommodation, copy of your visa, bank statements stating you sponsoring, and any other important info about your trip. She should be fine though, they usually don't give elderly people stress. |

There is no problem. The form for men is slightly more detailed. Noticed the same when my husband and I applied. bimmymal: 1 Like |

I went in with my mum and they allowed me, the VO never even directed any questions to me and my mum speaks English fluently and had no need for an interpreter. I also met a lady too there that came in with her mum. This happened in abuja. mamanjai: |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by nefertitiram: 11:07am On Feb 28, 2015 |
bimmymal: It is not different. The answers you give in some sections lead to further question. If you put in unemployed you won't get questions like how much you earn or place of employment. If you put in you are being sponsored other parts will be skipped. If you put in you are sponsoring they will require more details from you. 3 Likes |

The form for men requires more details than that of women, they are different. I fill for my husband and our profiles are very similar but his requires a lot more details than mine. nefertitiram: |
