There are not the Boko Haram fighters oooh, but innocent Nigerians caught on the crossfire, Why? Because President Jonathan did not tackle the issue head long for more than 5yrs. He just reserved it as a last minute efforts to boost his reelection chances.

This is a very big failure on the part of Jonathan. All he is doing now could have been done in the first year even when Boko Haram were smaller. Rather he turned a blind eye and wished it away. If he was not looking failure in the face in this elections, would he has swigged into action?

Jonathan must go. The way he hsndle the proplems of Nigeria is unacceptable.

ASUU, Polytechnics, Health workers, Judicial workers, etc. Their cases are unresolved. If Jonathan can get votes from through them, you will see him having a marathon meetings with them, but guess what, it does not care because it does not threaten him yet.

Why would that be? Check my posts from 2011. I have always said that the federal government under President Jonathan has the duty to clear Boko Haram, people like you gave all sorts of warped arguments to defend his mediocrity like: "Northern leaders are making the place ungovernable for him", "the opposition is using Boko Haram to discredit Jonathan".

How come these arguments have disappeared when he his on the verge of losing election? Any objective observer locally and internationally knows that President Jonathan is a poor leader and should be voted out of office.

Please ask your APC people why they hijacked GEJ's request to fund weapons and delayed it for almost half a year in the National Assembly.

Also ask APC people why they lobby the Americans (supposed natural allies also fighting terrorism) not to provide weapons, so that Russia is now the one providing it.

Ask Buhari & Sultan of Sokoto what they mean by "A fight against Boko is a fight against the North". Something that GEJ had to carefully consider in a tribalistic & bigotted country like ours.

Also ask why Northern elements condemned the State of emergency declared in the North East.

I feel your pain, frustration and disappointment. It's justified and nothing more. I'm also of the opinion, be it popular or otherwise, he didn't do well. He confessed that himself lately. It's the basic duty of every government to provide security for its people. How he waited till this time is both shameful and wrong, at least to me. Politics aside.

He wasn'tproactive enough. Yes, he had some voices from the North attacking his hard stance decision on the boko guys but he shouldn't have listened. He's the commander. He didn't do well....
