Secondly, which country did you graduated from? If it's China or Malaysia, getting an F1 visa now would be very tough for you.

@Deyanju...i am triple sure. Its not a big deal to change ur status. The first time i helped a friend with the procedure was 10 years ago. Today he is a US citizen. 2 years ago i helped my aunt with same procedure. But my aunt had to come return to Naija due to the expenses of paying for her fees and that of her children who would have to continue their primary and secondary school in the US cos i made sure her 4 children and husband were included in her form I-20.

I'm graduating from a University in Malaysia. What's the problem with that? What makes you think its going to be difficult?

China is competing heavily with the US and the guys at the embassy do not like that and they believe that any F1 visa applicant from this country is an intending immigrant if you've not been to the United States ever before your graduation. Not sure yet if this is purely administrative.

In other words, Malaysia is caused by high rate of crimes and are mindful of Nigerian applicants coming from that country. Every case is unique though.

These agents are causing a lot of problems. In North America, Europe and Asia for instance. Making a lot of our people go illegal.

Justwise, i am surprised this is coming from you. Ok, i guess its time i cleared so stuff here. I was not in the US 10 yrs ago but i had the idea of what to do to change status. Let me state it clearly that I did not get him a visa but only helped him with the process of changing his status before some ignorant person will jump on your comment and start spiting trash. also, i didnt ask for help with changing my status i only asked for schools that requires no test for admission. A friend needs it for scholarship purpose. i am not going to give details cos thats not relevant but the condition for the scholarship consideration is to present an admission letter. He is trying to minimize his expenses just in case he does not get the scholarship. Its a government parastatal and u know how it could turn out. So that is that.
