It is funny how you guys can waste an entire page on just talking about the smallest most meaningless of things. What happened to just saying: "we have about three different camos, I believe it is best we try and reduce it to just one camo". But instead, you talk and talk and talk and you actually don't say much, in all your talk. You have totally missed the relevent and important info on the video. Try and act mature. This just reminds me of a maths professor who when provided a proof of one of the most important conjectures of the millenium, spent his time correcting the french of the professor demonstrating the theorem in front of him. Later when asked to comment on the demonstration, the "corrector" didn't actually know the demo and couldn't say anything meaningful.

Because the soldiers know who is supposed to wear which camo, if you wear a camo and are spotted where those wearing it are not supposed to be, then you are in trouble. If someone is pretending to be from a certain unit but wears the wrong camo, then he is in trouble. Also for a specific mission the army could decide that all the soldiers participating in that mission would wear a certain camo, therefor the terrorists (who are famous for trying to impersonate soldiers) would find it more difficult to impersonate soldiers. The us military also has several camo. Now back to topic.

Totally wrong, the soldiers know the uniforms better than I do, and up to today I have never made a mistake in recognizing a Nigerian military uniform. Moreover using just one uniform doesn't stop infiltration, because the terrorists can copy it (as they often do, they even did that in iraq against usa army), so I don't get the point you are trying to make. It is giving you headache, but not the soldiers and not me, because the soldiers and I are fammiliarized with the uniforms. The headache it is giving you is further proof that it is a good method to confuse outsiders. I think its best we end this discussion right here, knowing your stubbornness.

Thats because you seeing them up close. Try telling them apart at 500 to 1000 meters. Having more than one uniform does not make harder to copy it does not change a thing. It does not give me a headache it will give the logistical guys a headache though.

You are two stubburn to hear reason. How does using just one camo help you to recognize your guys while the ennemy can also wear that same camo ? And in this case it is an ennemy which tends to impersonate your guys. So how does having only one camo help ? I really can't debate with you since I lack time and you lack imagination. Look at it this way: your army has three different camos and each soldier is provided with all camos, then you install a dress code which changes in function of the day and the unit. Therefor, you reduce the probability of being impersonated by the ennemy.

Basically, in the army, multiple people in the same unit wearing multiple unfiroms is just not done.

Uniformity is the order of the day - it is a mark of professionalism and discipline.
