Yes, you can 'medically' terminate a pregnancy very early on gestation. BUT, I would really recommend that she goes and see a gynecologist for a proper assessment, evaluation and follow up. This self termination bit can turn seriously wrong (and deadly) if not properly monitored by a licensed gynecologist. She might require dilation and curettage (manual evacuation of fetus) if medical treatment fails.

Have you heard of retained products of conception? It can lead to septic shock if not removed.
