The only interesting thing the youth enjoyed was when Sean Tizzle performed and began to throw chains to the crowd. In my view, marketing himself and not the president. Timi Dakola's performance was inspiring, was cool, everyone enjoyed it, the president along with Gbenga Murderer Daniels, Mimikoh, Peter Obi, Bode Thief George held hands and sang (sorry chew their mouths) and sang along. Jonah held the flag and waved it. When it was time for Jonah to speak, the Camera man made a mistake and took his view to a crowd of people that had left already. Well, anyone can claim they didn't see it, but I did see it live and clear. 23:00 GMT, the lion of bourdilion will speak, I will wait for tifnubu to speak as well and hear what he has to say. 4 Likes |

Topeakintola:Have you asked Buhari to explain 1. Why he sacked 55,000 civil servants 2. why he sacked 30, 000 soldiers 3. Why unemployment was in his time compared to that of great depression of the 1930s 4. Why many companies closed shops because they were starved of raw materials from overseas 5. Why many people lost their jobs because of the going under of companies 6. Why NANS was proscribed 7. Why ASUU was proscribed because they went on strike 8. Why NMA leaders were thrown into jail like all other union leaders 9. Why the debt to GDP ratio rose by over 100% 10. Why there was darkness in his time Have you asked him to account for N25B which OBJ confirmed was missing under him. he acknowledged in London that he will take responsibility of everything that happened under his watch. Have you asked him to account for the $2.8B that went missing under him as the commissioner for pet? Vote GEJ, the transformation czar!!!! 27 Likes 5 Shares |

Ok GEJ went to say farewell to the youths in Lagos. Desperation will surely kill this man. Now they are the ones emulating Osinbajo and APC. Nice try, let them continue trailing till elections day. Just laughing at the way PDP who used to be a behemoth turned to almost like DPP. 5 Likes |

koikoi2: Boko haram is a PDP affair - late Azazi. Hav u considered dat maybe d USA wit d kind of resources they hav know something about dis insurgency dat u don't know hence they refused to sell arms to perpetuate d insurgency?. Even d President recognizes d immense capabilities & resources of d USA, hence in an interview on NTA he kept repeating like a broken record - "America Will Know". Helicopters hav been reportedly seen dropping supplies 4 d insurgents. d late Aziza, former NSA adviser who should know says BH is a PDP affair. He met an untimely death. d voting base of d opposition in d NE continues to be decimated daily while d govt spent all dis time fighting d insurgency wit kid gloves only to resolve to start serious fighting on d eve of elections. It took a 16yr old girl, Malaila Yusufzai to make d clown even meet wit d parents of d Chibok girls. As we speak he has never been to Chibok. Nigerians ar smarter than some guy called Goodluck Jonathan who doesn't giv a damn. Were it not 4 d competition frm d APC in dis election, dis clown might never hav visited d N/east whom he considers not as part of his constituency but as people who were trying to make d nation ungovernable 4 him. smh. How clueless is dis guy?. Human right abuses were going on as attested to by various bodies like d Human rightwatch, Amnesty International etc. Having left undone what he should hav done, we will not repeat d mistake of " I had no shoes of 2011 in 2015 & vote 4 d political almajiri. #IHaveDecided 7 Likes 1 Share |

Topeakintola: How will he explain such when the bulk of the participants at the venue are majorly our brothers from the SE & SS part of the country. Whatever he says is ok by them as long as 1. They're not affected by the bomb being thrown by BH cos they don't live in the northeast 2. They have regular electricity in their villages cos they are the importers of fuel. 3. Non of them was killed in the immigration job scam cos they do their own biz. Them no dey do gov work. 4. The people that stole our commonwealth are hustlers (na biznez na). But one thing I will love the president to answer is that What was his response when OBJ asked him why his govt is not taking action to curb the BH menace in the North? I won't give the answer so some people won't come here to crusify me. Any reasonable Nigerian not blinded by religion or ethnicity that is able to get what he said will understand why most people will never want GEJ as nigerian president again. OBJ asked him the same question in the presence of Pastor E. A. Adeboye at Otta but he refused to answer cos the answer he gave OBJ before that time, was so demonic and unfitting of a sitting president of any Nation. 8 Likes |

slightlyMad: While our mixed feelings about the Nigerian Army Winnings over BH is genuine, we need to dimension the events leading to current happennings. Firstly, we need to establish that buying weapons is not as simple as ABC. Not like buying chocolates @ shoprite and strolling back home with a full bag. The boko haram war and menace, has evolved from stage to stage and with each new stage, comes a new discovery. At stage 1,the NA never thought they were faced with a formidable opponent but unknowingly to them, they had something else coming. Boko haram grew to become formidable due to the activities of moles within the army. This sabotage, gave boko haram ample opportunity to stockpile arms looted from the NA armory, and from the black market. At stage 2,boko haram used these arms to fight the NA and gained a lot of towns due to activities of sabotage in the army. The guerilla warfare tactic deployed by bh made it very difficult for the military to record significant progress. Nigeria hadn't been involved in something like this before, and the weapons possessed by the military were better suited for conventional warfare. If they had deployed such then, innocent individuals would have been killed and this would have led to something else again. At stage 3,the military realised they needed a different kind of approach to the insurgency and this approach meant getting new weapons and equipments that would suit the operations. At this stage, the FG approached our so called friends in the west for assistance with specific kind of weapons but they turned us down and even blocked most deals that would have sailed through. This forced us to go the black market way and again, the deal was blocked and a huge scandal was made about it. At stage 4,the FG had to openly request a loan for arms purchase and this loan would not be received in cash. A foreign govt would supply us arms directly to the tune of 1bn dollars, thereby eliminating the biz of middle-men in the deals. At the end,we ended up patronising the Russians and the Chinese for stuffs that our friends couldn't give us because they kept citing poor human rights records as a reason for not selling to us. At stage 5,all the mistakes learnt from the onset have been sorted out, neighbouring countries whose bordering towns used to be safe haven for bh have decided not to alloy their territories to be used as a base for fleeing terrorists, and have joined in the battle against the insurgents. Weapon transactions that have been in the pipeline, are gradually coming into fruition and the tide has been turned against the insurgents. Sooner than we think,we'd win this war. Yes,we can't stay without blaming the NA or the president one way or the other but the truth is,there is no specialized manual world over, that teaches you how to successfully quench insurgency at once. The almighty US has been involved in at least 3 wars in the last 15 years and those countries where the wars occured, have been worse than the way the US met it. Libya,Iraq and Afghanistan are classic modern day examples. Even the US with all her might and weapons and technology, haven't been able to quench insurgency anywhere on the planet. If they had,we wouldn't still be talking about groups like Al-qaeda,ISIS,Al-shabab,Boko haram, etc. They are still learning on the job but they have more experience than us. The US with all her might, lost the Vietnam war that lasted for 30yrs cummullatively. The war was fought between the south Vietnam who were backed by the US and French forces, and the North Vietnam backed by China and the Soviet Union. At the end,the French and the US were defeated. Boko haram is not defeating us and despite our meagre defence budget,we're winning the war against them. Those who argue about Buhari defeating the Maitasine rebels shouldn't forget that those rebels never had the weapons or knowledge/support that the boko haram insurgents have. They also never had access to the kind of funds boko haram have. Finally, they never had a veritable means of spreading their propaganda and creating a larger than life image of themselves. When we put all these together,we'd know why some of us still give kudos to the current C-in-C and the military high command. Under them,Nigeria faced a new challenge and still overcame it. No leader in this history of Nigeria, has faced this kind of issue. Having a growing economy tipped to be one of the top 10 in a few years time, and still having to battle insurgency at the same time. If only we never had the boko haram menace, only God knows the kind of giant strides we would have made as a nation. Nigeria shall overcome and we'd fulfil our potential as a nation 14 Likes 7 Shares |
