An advice to all newcomers.....use your first couple of payments on asset building. What do I mean?

If electricity is an issue where you live, start saving towards an I pass my neighbor generator. If your laptop battery isn't excellent, start saving towards a new battery. If your laptop is crappy, start saving towards a good tokunbo one for now. If you are using mtn 4.5gb plan like I do, concentrate your laptop activities during the night (3gb) and use your smartphone during the day for bidding and accepting awards (1.5gb) . you can invest in a mid range android phone, just make sure it is not less that 4.4kitkat.

Just know that the initial stages are days of sowing. Harvest comes later. Don't eat your seed. We shall all get there. God has used ladywriter to show us some light, how long our light burns depends on us.

The trick is in creating multiple, hot selling gigs. My writing gig sells more but i have other gigs as well. I have 1 level one account and 2 level two accounts. Once you are able to build your account to level two with positive ratings, you don hammee be that. Creating another fiverr thread would split the house. Or don't you think so?

Yea you are right we rather keep it here. But my head is spinning already with all the gigs and levels. I must squeeze out time to explore the site but I wonder if you can take us through the basics to shorten the learning curve. Just something similar to what ladywriter has done here. Maybe not as elaborate, but something to act as a springboard.

sorry bro, always insist that employers create a milestone payment before you start the work......my friend fell for a similar scam and accepted a phony job worth 3000 usd, his account balance was reading -300+ in less than 2 minutes after accepting the job...i would have fallen victim too, if not for ladywriter

Kai, some employers on Freelancer though. its the weekend dear, most of these foreigners don't joke with their weekends so you should probably wait till monday-tuesday. if he doesn't show up after that, open a dispute or send a mail to the support team.
