Asumns: No school will grant you admission w/o Transcripts (I'm assuming you've got your admission) so I really don't think it's imperative for the Visa Application (esp for those who don't have access to their Transcripts). |

Hello guys. I finally got my TRV last week. Thanks for all the info here. For the update: School- Uni of Dalhousie Graduate study with research Visa application- online Applied- January 12 Biometric- January 14 Medical call- Feb 2 Medicals done- Feb5 Passport req- Feb 17 Issued- Feb 20 Collected- Feb27 However, I still need a little more help from guys. I discovered there are no direct flights to Halifax in Nova Scotia. Has anyone booked a flight to that route before and how was it done please? Are there websites that could also be of help in this regard please. I also need some help to go about getting an off campus accommodation or a temporary housing for a week or thereabout. Your prompt response will be of great help. Thanks guys 2 Likes |

a4larin: congrats i know most people fly to toronto, and then book a connecting flight to their final destination. You can use wakanow/travelStart to get flights to toronto. Wakanow Ive never used, but travelstart are great. you can also book directly on the airline's website. Then use Kayak to search for a connecting flight. most people use Kijiji for student accommodation, but i'll advice you to search for budget hotels close to your uni book for a week, And Use that time to search for a place. Not a pro, but that's what i'd do. HTH 1 Like |

Asumns: I guess u can get your Statement of result from your Department? You can use that in place of your transcript. Some schools don't issue transcript to students. |

This is no problem at all. The bank will issue and stamp the statement of account of your dad upon request. These are the only requirement of CHC. They will do their due diligence after receiving your application. Good that country speaks French which is one of the official Language of Canada else you would have needed to translate to either English or French depending on the Language of your Application. You are good to submit if this is the only outstanding for you. Best wishes. Damolaay: |
