Re: Photo: Jambites Protest In Benue by sirrinky: 7:51pm On Mar 02, 2015
This matter is a very serious one but with a simple solution. The registration has been done what prevents JAMB from making the printouts done individually? No further data input is needed why does a candidate who has a PC and printer at home have to go stand in the sun to get a printout? Why is their cluelessness in all the activities of this government? Please don't quote me for political gains but this incessant display of lack of foresight, planning and effective administration is just appalling. WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT JAMB SHOULD MAKE THE SLIPS PRINTABLE BUY INDIVIDUAL CANDIDATES. LIKE IF YOU AGREE.

Nothing....and I even regard Buhari as an old man, who is riding high on nostalgia.(It isn't the year 1984, Nigerians!)

But still....a good reason for voting Buhari is not because APC is an improvement over PDP....it isn't.

If you should find a reason to vote for APC (Now I am not an APCer....I do not like Tinubu or Atiku).....it should be to send a message to the parties that if you do not keep the contract you made with Nigerians...we would replace you and do the same to your replacement if he/she does not keep the contract we signed with him too.

Nigerians should make it clear to the political class....we voted you in to work for us. And if you are not working for us...out you go.

But you Nigerians prefer to suffer and smile. You do not ask PDP or APC the tough questions. You do not force either party at all levels to work for you. Maybe it is because you do not believe in democracy....or rather you have a flawed idea of how a democracy works....

Ode. Who's seeking cheap ways out? (who's not anyway?) They (Jamb) kept postponing registration closing date just to get more candidates (and more money in turn)

Time to slate the exam date came and they kept giving excuses, kept shifting every planned date, kept putting candidates on suspense.

Jamb result's validity is just a year, unlike other exam boards that have longer time validity. Of course, it's all about the money.

With all these you are telling me not to complain? Fault my foot!

This morning, a boy came to reprint his Jamb slip. I opened http://www.jamb.org.ng/Unifiedtme1/ and entered his registration number. After I clicked enter, I got a pop-up message "Please Visit Any of the Registration Centres to Print your New Registration Slip".

It is no news that Cybercafes are no longer allowed to register students for Jamb examination.

Why should students be forced to go the registration centers just to reprint their slips?

JAMB una dey very wicked!!!!!!!!

THE CANDIDATES WERE TOO RIOTOUS! AM AFRAID THEY WILL BE DANGEROUS ON CAMPUSES! YES! JAMB AND NIGERIA DO NOT KNOW WHAT EXPERTS CALL "STRATEGIC PLANNING" IN DEVELOPMENT. GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT ARE GRADUAL AND SEQUENTIAL PROCESSES! YOU CAN NOT JUST JUMP ONE DAY AND START WHAT YOU HAVE NO FUNDATION FOR. THE IDEA OF CBT IS NICE AND TECHNOLOGICALLY GOOD! BUT WHAT IS THE NIGERIA 'S EDUCATIONAL POSITION WITH RESPECT TO COMPUTER? HOW PREPARED INTERMS OF FACILITIES IS THE BOARD? THE WHOLE OF BENUE STATE HAS 3 CENTRES WITH THE UNI AGRIC CENTRE BEEN LARGEST WITH A CAPACITY OF AROUND 300 STUDENTS! WHY NOT START BY RAISING COMPUTER STANDARD IN SEC SCHOOLS,MEAN WHILE THE EXAM CONTINUE BOTH PAPER AND CBT FOR MORE YEARS? JAMB IS CURRENTLY CONFUSED BECAUSE THEIR TECHNICAL STRENGTH IS LESS THAN THE TASK.AGAIN,ATLEAST 80% OF THE CANDIDATES ARE YET TO TOUCH A KEY BOARD IN THEIR LIFE. OK! WE PRAY IT WORKS.

Can you imagine?
Do you believe SAT is valid for five years?

This is an exam for a country with probably the highest standards in the world here, yet they don't let their children waste their lives writing exams several times unnecessarily.

jamb has totally turned this into a money making venture.

just calculate 1,500,000 * 6000.

This is how much JAMB makes every year.
