Please guys I hv bn out of job for a month nw cos d company I ws working wt downsized and as a result I ws among those laid off. I hv bn to two companies to submit my cv bt ws told by the security men tht they arent recruiting so wont accept my cv. Pls how do I go about dis job hunt cos I dnt seem to kw how to to it. Mayb I shd kip vigil on the internet whch is filled wt fake job adverts or move frm company to company as I earlier did. Pls how do I submit my cv

My advice...When you visit the company next time, work straight inside not gateman oooo, tell them you were sent to submit something and its confidential, but my guy, dress really well. When i go to submit CV, I dress even more than the boss that even the security men says welcome sir and I'm like...I want to see the Hr. So be bold, dress well and smell well. No one can stop you if you look good. Try it.appear like you have an interview, thank me later.

My brother it doesn't work unless you are talking about small companies with little or no security (gateman). If you get to the gate, u will be asked if you have appointment with any of the official, then the gateman will call the helpdesk officer to confirm of any appointment booking or expected visitor.

Pray, they can allow you submit cv

Bro u could try this: stay outside the building for a few, when you see a young approachable staff, walk up to him/her and kindly ask him to help you drop your cv with their HR. ALso dress very well (neat,clean,crisp shirt will do and dont look sweaty)
