Kwara state is the worst place to serve, no water, no toilets, private skul pay 2k, the people see the corpers as their gods and the corpers earn more than most of them in their local govt. It was hell that I had to do *Ghost Corper* tins. The state govt is even worst than BH. Criminals everywhere |

lovat:I spent the 1st-19th year of my life at Jebba, Moro LGA of the State. I lived at Colony to be precise and I swear, I know nothing about no light, no toilet, no water that you're talking about. This a State where a little amount gives you so much and if you're earning N19800 monthly and you can not get yourself a decent life anywhere in Moro- at least an accommodation with a good Toilet- you need help. You are lucky your allowee was increasf a bit higher than the minimum wage, otherwise you would be earning about half the amount earned by a cleaner in the LG Office. I served in Gombe State at a time when the allowee was N9,750. No light, no water and I had to live in a "Channel 0"-round mud house. A direct contrast to what's obtainable where I was coming from, but instead of doing "ghost corps member" like you. I and my colleagues contributed to the development of that place by sinking a bole-hole. That's the spirit of NYSC. |
