Wait, what do multichoice Nigerians for? Why increase every year with same old stuff we see on dSTV very old movies, the only thing that interest me is their documentry. And sport channels.. I think its time we part ways with this greedy S.A guys.

Please can anyone tell me an alternative to DSTV(legal or illegal)? Atleast where I can be watching the football matches live. Am tired of this monopolistic rip-off

*Get a dish (1.3M dish is better)
*Get a Strong Decoder or a similar one
*Mount your dish or let somebody who knows how, to do it for you
*Connect your Decoder to your dish and pronto, you are watching FREE Football for LIFE.

Cant say more than this here for those "ban-ban" people start getting itchy fingers.

Go to FTA Section and do some reading-up yourself. https://www.nairaland.com/712408/free-air-satellite-tv-general

Nigerians should stop subscribing for at least 2 months, let's see if they won't reverse it and even further reduce it.

FVCK DSTV...

Hey, take a pause.

did you notice that those prices are in Dollars?
Do oyu not know what is happening to the Dollar right now...... courtesy of our BRIBING PRESIDENT?

So, as you point a bad finger at DSTV.... remember that it is an "International Company" (Non Nigerian) thus its receipts are based on forex.
How about if Nigeria has its own "standard" TV Company?....

I am not talking about that useless AIT which has become a Political Channel.

HITV's problem was thinking Nigerians bought cable just to watch news, and football.

That's where they missed the plot.
Exactly. They could have been more versatile in their bouquet.
Anyway, I wish one or two Nigerian satellite tv companies, offering 100s or 10s of channels (with HD signals) would emerge. Prices would definitely crash.

q-sat is sold for #12,000 with 6months subscription to unlock all SD dstv channels and canalsat channels ie for more sport channels and you can also use it to get your free to air channels.
