I used the phrase "supposed architect of the universe" first, to mimick what is generally believed by theists, second, to express my skepticism that such is true.
I am more inclined to believe and accept that the universe and the particles of condensed energy that constitute it, are self existent, and therefore do not need a god.

There exists no evidence that the universe was designed or created,...unless, of course, we are willing to entertain the wild notion that we are computer programs running in a holographic universe, written by species or beings billions of years more advanced.
