Sperm is not a fluid! Sperm plus other components added by the associated glands( seminal, prostrate n cowper) makes it fluidy.
You said sperm around the vagina can cause baby bumps.
This may or may not be true depending on the position around the vagina., Sperm has no eyes but it's being controlled by secretion from the egg( this also explains the sperm specificity). A position in the vagina where the "controller secretion" doesnt reach WOULD not make sperm goes to the right place
