So far, APC has not said much about how they would improve law enforcement....except to state that they would set up a specialist task force...which would presumably deal with Boko Haram. But....the Police needs more than that to battle today's city robber....and I have not heard APC propose a detailed plan as to HOW they would improve the Police Service.

Buhari in charge might not cahnge anything.

Unfortunately....the Police force is a Federal Institution....not a state institution.

Blame Abuja for not funding the police well....and for not funding the setting up of SWAT-like teams that would have handled this armed robbery better than regular police work.

I do not like the blame game.I merely point out the problems the Police has....which include poorly trained officers, poorly equipped officers and no specialist tactical units(apart from MOPOL and CTS)....the porblems which prevented them from dealing with this robbery case effectively.

Whether Mbu is in charge or not is not the point here. The point is....you blamed Amaechi for the deficiencies in the Police Force, a federal institution....when you should be blaming Abuja...in particular the PDP appointed Minister of Police Affairs.

See how the life of this promising young man has been cut short in its prime by the bullets of armed robbers.

Obviously, he knew nothing about this and had only gone there to pay his fees and now this.

RIP to his sould and may God be with his family at this time.

But those who murdered this man in cold blood in the name of get rich quick syndrome are a good example of what a human being should never aspire to become.

Hopefully when the war against Boko Haram is over, the next war this govt will wedging shall be against these menacing armed robbers.

was there when it happened..begining to end..looking from hostel f and g gate...d robber on white cloth was the most aggressive. .thankgod a bullet touched his leg..I pity the policeman that was looking for his gun..
