eagle is called "idi" , not "awodi". hawk is called awodi or ASA

Interesting! My classmate back in UNN is from Urhobo but has an Igbo mother from Onicha. Open a thread specifically for this in the culture section and it will be moved to the front page.

Similar threads can be opened on Ibibio/Efik names for animals, Bini/Ishan names, Ijaw names etc.
