Dan Savage has issued a challenge to Republican Ben Carson to back up his claims that sexuality is a choice.

Fox pundit Ben Carson, who is a rumoured Republican presidential candidate, said earlier this week that prisons prove being gay is “absolutely” a choice.

He said: “Because a lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight and when they come out, they’re gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question.”

In his weekly column, advice columnist Dan Savage attacked Dr Carson – who has since tried to walk back his remarks– and issued a challenge to him.

He wrote: “Dear Dr. Carson,
“If being gay is a choice, prove it. Choose it. Choose to be gay yourself.

“Show America how that’s done, Ben, show us how a man can choose to be gay. Suck my dick.
“Name the time and the place and I’ll bring my dick and a camera crew and you can suck me off and win the argument.
“Very sincerely yours, Dan Savage”
Unsurprisingly, Dr Carson is yet to reply.
The doctor-turned-Republican politician, who is considering running for President in 2016, told listed hate group NOM last June that same-sex marriage is a “plot” conceived by the New World Order to impose communism.
He said at the time: “If you look in a lot of writings of the Neo-Marxists when they talk about the New World Order, they say there’s only one stick in the mud: how do you get them out of the way and how do you change them?
“They said there were two things: their Judeo-Christian faith, and their strong families. Those were the things that had to be attacked, and those things have been systematically attacked.
“There’s a book called the Naked Communist… it lays out the whole agenda of how to attack the family and the Judeo-Christian values, to weaken the structure of America… you can see all the things that are happening in America today.”

to the best of my knowledge Ben Carson is d best neurosurgeon (brain surgeon ) in the world and the brain controls all our actions. If the man says it's a choice then he's right. But I think he should accept the challenge!

Straight people have to decide whether they are straight by choice or just wired that way. Once you agree that you are wired to be straight and as a result cannot choose to be gay, you agree that anybody who is not straight couldn't have been wired straight. If they were, they could not choose to be gay either, just like you..
