@DanIndia. Will love to join. Been in the networking world for some years now, just been too lazy to certify (but planning on getting at least 2 this year, starting with CCNA SP ). Done some simulation of real life networks on my own, nothing too fancy though. Might not always be available to join the online sessions but you can count on me to help anyone out with any questions they might have on this thread.

For those using GNS3, I will suggest using the Cisco IOU images. It is quite easy on the resources and you can add much more devices than you would with the IOS images.

Just a simple lab I was playing with earlier last week. Simple design for two offices running a site-to-site VPN with full redundancy in the access and distribution layers. The routers are running EIGRP between them. I will upload the configurations later when I'm through with them, I hit a bit of a snag due to an error in GNS3 that is affecting some of the configurations I planned on putting on them. So, I left it for a while until I'm less busy.

I must say here is some heads up since I created this thread. I've received many emails and none of them have joined for the online sessions. It's just like showing interest and then not available. Just like you, I've been contemplating on the exams for years. I was supposed to write it in 2013 but school got in the way. This time I am writing it and in a few months that is. I think we could use someone like you. I currently run the sessions with two other friends of mine. Please holla back and let me know if you'll let me know.

I almost got discouraged by the turn down of all the above people you've seen list their gmail IDS. They all were just dropping emails but not showing up for the sessions.

What protocols are you running via the Cloud, ISP I mean, Frame Relay ? What about the L3 and L2 switches. I sense you must be running EtherChannel or STP is going to kill ya.
How about we complicate your simple lab setup, mess things up and get it up and running again, yes ?

I'm planning to stick to PT for my CCNA because the new PT is really cool and the onto GNS3 for CCNP Routing

Yes, it is interesting. The thing is are you really willing to do this ? I asked because several people have said the same thing and none of them showed up for the sessions. I'm only doing this to help and share ideas.

Do you have any basics in networking ? HAve access to a reliable internet access ? I wouldn't want you to join the group and then come up with excuses like having problems with internet. That could be discouragng for the current members.
