KidStranglehold: Thank you. I was going to point this out, but then I realised I was too tired to get into what I know will be a frustrating argument. I remember having this Bantu-Khoisan argument with him before the data loss happened, and I remember how unreasonable he was throughout that discussion. I'm not even going to say anything about his insistence in classifying Igbo and Ibibio as Bantu. 3 Likes |

Radoillo: His argument seems to resemble those of Bantu supremacist. Since when is a language group the "purest race" in African!? 2 Likes |

gallivant:seriously? they must be so few I never imagined that there could be light skinned Nilotes |
Re: I Was Thinking About What Ajuran/axum Said And Was Wondering by Nobody: 12:06pm On Mar 10, 2015 |
macof:They are growing especially in big towns and cities in Kenya, most Luos and Luhyas intermarried (and other bantu groups like the Kuria and the Kisii) and they are more light skinned because of the lighter complexion of the luhya bantus. The original Luo look, is that of the south sudanese, black as pitch but not as tall the Dinkas in south sudan, like in this picture. the maasai are a little lighter though. Radoillo:I'm curious, many of the Boers in your country claim that when they were advancing north, they found no one, when i know that the Bantus had already settled by 500 AD and the boers arrived a thousand years later, in the 1650s, do they teach this in your history? if they do, it goes to show how much the white man has distorted African history, you seriously need to do something about this issue in South Africa!! |

pkjag: Um... I'm actually Nigerian. I don't think they still teach that Boers moved into empty country in this post-Apartheid era. I'd imagine that that is one of the things that have changed since the end of white minority rule. |

Omarbah:Bantus are related by blood. The relations may have become complicated due to the dispersal and assimilation of other tribes but all Bantus share a common male ancestry, now also proven by genetics. |
