Nigerian and their sentimental mind. Why can't you lambast your FG wey slam states' allocation by 40 to 50%? Oil vandalism, economic recession and corruption are on high trend under this clueless FG.

While I don't protect Osun state government, it is noteworthy that PDP's governors are mostly guilty of this.

And some sets of useless Governors donated over N1billion for GEJ

God will judge them

Akpabio, Jang, Imoke, Suswam, Others Donate N1billion
While Owing Workers... -

As representatives of 21 Peoples Democratic Party [PDP]
governors mounted the rostrum some months ago at the
presidential villa in Abuja to announce N1.05 billion in
donation to the PDP, back in their respective states, school
teachers and other state workers were enduring their
second or third month of work without pay.

In some states, the indebtedness to workers stretched a
year.

In Ebonyi, authorities owed teachers under the Universal
Basic Education scheme nearly 12 months of salaries.

In Abia State, secondary school teachers were last paid in August, while primary school teachers have been owed since October.

In Akwa Ibom State, the nation’s leading oil producer which
draws more than triple of what other states receive from the federation account monthly, local government staff were on strike. Before the strike, they were forced to receive half salaries for several months, while authorities claimed they had no money.

In Cross River, the situation had worsened after months of indebtedness that state-run television, the Cross River
Broadcasting Corporation, CRBC, shut off production last
week. The station remains off air till date. Other staff fortunate to have received reasonably up-to-date pay, have yet to be paid for November.

But on Saturday night, Cross State governor, Liyel Imoke,
stood next to his Bauchi State colleague, Isa Yuguda, as Mr. Yuguda announced to a gleeful president and a shocked
nation how the 21 governors who had been struggling to pay salaries long before the present oil crisis, rallied N50
million each in donation to the PDP.

“We may do more in future, but that is what we were able to
raise for now,” Mr. Yuguda assured.

What a shame on this country!

shut the Bleep up.i can vouch for ebonyi and as much as I hate the governor I will tell the truth that hen owns one month salary that was in 2011 and he hasn't paid that. Currently civil servants are on indefinite strike endorsed by the state nlc. Get your facts right bro and don't spew propaganda.

PDP states are top on this list Dude both in quantity and quality. Ebonyi states owes workers for almost one year up till date. I don't blame them cos even when the FG allocation were 100% coming, they were owing not to talk of 40-50% reduction of recent.

Until we have a better President, economic recession, oil vandalism and corruption will countinue to affect our activities.

Aregbesola has himself to blame, and deserves knocks. If you are a governor in an opposition party, you must be one step ahead, not deepening your IGR is a failure on his path, although i still will want to understand why Osun state is now receiving the least allocation, making it the last and number 36 on the allocation table from the FG. For now, he will need to suspend some of the socialist programmes like school feeding, and tablet distribution, and ensure salaries are paid.

Who is saying workers should not complain? Did Osun owe 10 months? This is how you and your clueless President always reason despite the fact that FG is the major cause.

Even without cutting monthly allocation, some states were struggling to pay their workers regularly not to talk of 40-50% reduction from FG which they are experiencing now. Where do you see me protecting a state here? But your empty skull refuse to tell you that if you want to tackle a problem, it would have been better to look at the cause, which is - corruption, economic recession, oil vandalism, clueless leader etc. For your information, FG dey owe some workers too, so what is the bigi?

Your brained needs to be formatted, scanned, laminated honezly. I am very ashamed to be associating myself with a youth like yours who always allow party interest, religion, and tribe to affect their sense of reasoning.

I can see you are suffering from a disease called "Jonathanchotomiasis" honezhly...

Honestly, dat's y we need to vote leaders that can innovate, develop new working ideas and discover the talents embedded in ppl and also the resources embedded in our localities for transformation into wealth. We can't continue to rely on oil with it's dwindling value. That's why I'm supporting ENGR. OLUSEYI MAKINDE for OYO Governor. Vote Seyi Makinde and Oyo state will move to greater heights.

[/s]all this is blatant rubbish and u are talking out of ur anus. If he owes a month salary that is ok not 5months and stop exhibiting buhari mad cow disease here. The damm money cut u are talking about will be remitted back ,it is just always a month late. The problem is osun is heavily in debt therefore he has to use the allocation given to it to service the debt it owes . If aregbe had been prudent and not giving your drug addict political father and hero tinubu and his cronies various dubious contracts maybe things would have been bettet.

some pple are gullible dt dey cant reason things out themselves when their leaders are feeding their minds with propaganda. Agreed that d there might have been reduction in revenue being shared by all tiers of govt for sometimes now and if u identify corruption as a reason,we can hear global fall in oil price as another reason but do u know FG lacks d power to reduce allowance of any state in nigeria?
If u dont know,RMAFC is a body dt oversee d allocation and distribution of resources in nigeria and there are rules for doing dt but my question for u is dt if FG has been doing this to opposition states, why have dey not gone to court to seek redress?
APC governors shud stop giving filmsy excuses eventhough i dont blame them because if GEJ had nt been clueless,d illegality dey commit thru joint state account where dey hav crippled local govt system wud have stopped but it is a shame dt despite d fact dt dey are spending money dt is allocated to 3rd tier of govt dey cant still perform some of their primary duties.
I challenge any APC governor who feels cheated by FG to dare it by taking FG to court to seek redress then we can know who is saying d truth.
abi no be d same money wey other dey collect na it dem dey use to pay their workers? abi why workers in osun no dey complain of unpaid salaries b4 with previous govts,or na trillion dem dey receive frm FG then? mtcheew...bunch of smart looters
