From my own experience and personal resolve, I am better off without having to unnecessarily mingling with Nigerians abroad(Family or not).

Just be extra careful with your dealings...
I can't begin to share experiences here because some of these people are family and they have a right to be protected.

Dude, you shouldn't be applying to a school based on its ranking,reputation and cost(youu need to tell them the interesting story about your school and it's achievement(s) not whether there's a Nigerian there or nah.
Nigerians have quite the reputation abroad and you should know, in the US, you're on your own!
The school I got a visa with is not the same as the one I'm currently attending.

Pls my admission letter is coming in soon, its comes with an alternative address which is in the Us, my brother inlaw is an alumnus or alunmi cheesy of the school, he paid for application and pressed buttons for quick evaluation, would it affect my chances at the embassy

Very good for not even thinking about agent sef. That word annoys me like roomates breath. Is your sisters Visa card activated for online banking? Which bank does she use? Go to the bank and tell them what you want to use it for, they would put your through.

Awww Pele...just keep your head up and be optimistic on the other two... Don't you think you really need to make your, GRE, SOP and LORs stronger atleast it can be kinda more or less helpful to cover up for your low GPA
I have a friend who finished with 2.2 and got admitted for his Msc programme ..the secret behind this was that, he had very good recommendation letters from professors, his SOP was well constructive and his GRE score was OK(above average)..don't forget he backed everything up with prayers!...I wish you all the best!!!

Access bro.I have mastercard but the info on the site says only visa card online payment is accepted from Nigeria.

Your GPA is still OK na...maybe you've been applying to schools that are extremely competitive... Check for schools that accept 2.7gpa..
