Please with regards to the mail below, notifying you that the next phase of Assessments for the ongoing Graduate Trainee recruitment will commence in 1st Quarter 2015, we write to inform you that the start date has been moved to a later date.

This change in start date is due to the postponement of the Presidential and Gubernatorial elections.

New dates will be communicated to you in due course.

When I first saw the heading of the mail, my heart skipped a beat, I thought they wanted to still keep their q1 promise. Smh

Hahahahahaha. I'm just smh. The writing has been on the wall for some time. As soon as the elections were postponed, it was almost certain that this AC would be postponed too.

Nevertheless, I'm really disappointed at how long this is taking. I know how much I have delayed my travel plans and kept several plans/events on hold because of this. I'm sure many of us feel the same way too.

Well, life goes on. I'll keep myself busy with my professional development. Cheers.

I hope for the best, the best for all of us. I have prepared and unprepared myself several times. I do not even know what and how to prepare anymore. Nevertheless, lets keep the hope and fire burning, fingers crossed. I hope there won't be any further postponement henceforth.

Between the date of application to NLNG and now, I have switched to a third job. Howbeit, my optimism of my spot with NLNG remains unwavering. The wait doesn't mean putting your life on hold or halting on your other many plans. Get busy, get useful, continually build your competencies and I'm most definitely sure that in the end, you'll have a better advantage based on the competencies built within the waiting period.

ROTFLMAO! as in literally.

This sheet is funny in a disgusting and annoying way. I recall their mail to us after the interview telling us that they would provide the feedback in due course. We got the mail on 27th November 2014. It's been roughly 14 weeks since then with no word.

Now they are telling you they will get back to you in due course. The issue is, when NLNG mentions 'due course' (and that is the annoying phrase they always use by virtue of their limited vocabulary), they actually mean eternity.

Trust me bro, the disgust you feel for them is nothing compared to what i feel for the clowns. Jega made that announcement on the postponement of the elections on 7th Feb. If indeed they planned on having the AC in the week beginning 23rd March like they insinuated in their mail, what stopped them from bringing it forward by a week and having it in the week beginning 16th March If i'm not mistaken, it's been almost a year since they got back to you on your success in the computer based sheet

It's over a year we took the WAEC NLNG test ie on March 8, 2014. NLNG am loyal .

NLNG which way. if 2nd stage to 3rd stage is taking 5 months then what of the final stage to medicals?

If I had known, I would have applied while awaiting mobilization for NYSC. It's a year since then, I'm almost done with service & you guys have no inkling as to when AC would commence. Wish you all the best anyway. Just checking.

Some of the AC candidates already have 6 years experience now. It'll be all very interesting.

In my own opinion technical experience will only play a little role in the AC, the soft skills is what really matters

You won't have been able to apply then. We needed to submit a scanned copy of NYSC discharge certificate
