zlatan red card could have been averted if the ref culd just wait a little for the match officials to watch from a different angle. am a chelsea fan but though the ref angle shows the aggressive and in every aspect gave the ref the edge in the case but I think the officials ar thre to help clear such case. |

afolag: Why would he wait if he had a clear view of the tackle? He would only do such if he isn't totally sure. That challenge was late nd dangerous. |

kinglekan:it wasn't a red card in any way. It was a 50-50 ball which both players went for, and when ibra saw Oscar, he held back trying to pull out but the collision was inevitable. the view on goal.com, soccernet. com and even the match day commentators said the same thing. It was even a clash of shins at worst. this is why American sports like basketball have an edge cos they focus more on what happened than on what the referee saw. |
