This is what happens when hausas dominate d seat of power.they all got their employment letter direct from abuja.

1.Appointments to any federal institution/body require that you MUST follow Federal Character. IT IS THE LAW. If you do not follow federal character.....you will get sacked immediately.

This is another reason why my vote this time around won't be going to GEJ....Cos despite d fact that we share dsame regional and religious affiliations I can barely fathom how his governance has added value to my life.While Northerners are trying to place their children in juicy positions our own so called South South president only remembers us wen he needs our votes.

NO one should blame GEJ, as long as the quotasystem exists, things will continue this way. This is why they want GEJ out, He wants to abolish the Quotasystem.

And even then.....the principal officer STILL has input on who comes in. (I know people who are involved in Govt administration).

Plus....FEDERAL CHARACTER laws STILL have to be followed. Even if they wanted to bring in Hausas....it won't be up to 80%.

FUNNIEST PART IN ALL THESE THINGS IS THAT THOSE THAT WERE SELECTED WILL NOT EVEN BE ABLE TO CONSTRUCT PROPER ENGLISH.
I HAVE SEEN THEM AND LIVED WITH THEM. THEY ONLY GET BYE BY FAVORITISM.

I ALMOST CRIED MY EYES OUT WHEN I SAW CAPABLE HANDS BEING USED AS CONTRACT STAFFS AND INCOMPETENT NORTHERN GIRLS OF NOT MORE THAN 20-23 YEARS AS PERMANENT STAFF AT NNPC CHQ IN ABUJA. THEN THEY ALSO EMPLOY CONTRACT STAFFS AS CALL DESK AGENTS, ALL THEY DO IS COME AND SIGN PAPERS AND THATS ALL...

IT MUST STOP AND IT WILL STOP SOMEDAY...

But I agree that when the hausa was in control of the country there was big partiality in every phases of nigerian lifes.

WHY PETROLEUM TRAINING INSTITUTE STUDENTS STAGE MASS PROTEST



The students of Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State took to the streets in the morning of February 11, 2014, Tuesday, to protest against the continuous black out and lack of water in the school for three months.

The students initiated the protest at about 7.30 a.m., demanding that the school authority find immediate solution to their plight, especially considering the fact that examination is coming soon.

Vanguard reports that the students have been allegedly angered by the claim that the school spends N9m to pay electricity bill and another N3m on diesel on a monthly basis.

They claimed there was no justification for such huge expenses, as the school is always in darkness, occasioned by lack of electricity supply.

The school was still under lock and key at the time of writing this article, lecturers and other management staff were stranded outside the school premises.

The appeal by the principal of the institute, Mrs. N’Denar, did not clam down the protesters, who demanded an assurance from higher authorities.

It would be noted this is the second time in three years that the PTI students would be staging the protest due to lack of electricity supply and portable water on campus.

Buhari's certificate saga is one of thousands of sharp practices these North played on the rest of the nation. The Nigeria Army back then was effectively a Hausa-Fulani army where nepotism, favouritism and cronyism reigned supreme. All that was needed for them to attend any prestigious institution was a letter of recommendation that Mohamed Gambo WILL pass a certain examination.

I hate discussing tribal politics, but every once in a while, we must say the truth and make attempt at restructuring the system to make for equity and fairness. No society strives without JUSTICE! !!
why once in a while? it should be an everyday thing so that the problem would be solved once and for all

The questions I ask are:
What has Jonathan done to change this trend in the past 5 years?... Nothing
What will Jonathan do to change this trend IF he continues in office?... Nothing

So what this have to do with the coming elections?... Jonathan simply entered power and started frolicking with the same old vampires that have kept us backwards. From the south, which people has Jonathan empowered?... Nobody but the same set of politicians who joined forces with the so called northerners to keep us backwards. The next set of people empowered by Jonathan are the creek criminals; Tompolo, Ateke, Asari, Boyloaf, Shoot at Sight etc.

Jonathan being a south-south president should have been the best chance we had at changing this retrogressive trend but in his nonchalance, weakness, love for corruption and cluelessness, GEJ has ended up just being a waste of space and a disgrace to the south.

Since Jonathan met this ugly trend and hasn't made any move to change it, come March 28th, Jonathan must go back to Otueke; I am sure with less corruption under a GMB government, this trend (even though GMB is a northerner) would be eased a bit unlike under a ghost southern GEJ.
