I can't find any substantial document on 1945 issues... meaning most of what you read is propaganda fuelled by tribal bigots..

The yoruba were not involved in 1966 and 1967 issues... It was when the igbo began to attack the SW that the yoruba fought back and got involved.

I purposely put this thread in the literature section so that it won't be permeated with hatred and strive in the politics section. But I can see that most don't even understand my point. I really wish we can stop our leaders 'divide and rule' methods. I was at a Seminar where Fashola said Lagos state will introduce one Chinese Language into the curriculum. And I wonder why Nigerian students have not been made to study the three major Nigerian languages, compulsorily. People register and pay huge amounts to study foreign languages yet they can barely speak One of theirs.
In my country, I hear some people swear that they will never learn certain languages (because they hate the tribe). My heart breaks into a million fragments.
