BoosBae:Ok good. KSU is good but try to get another school in Texas. Check if you can procure admission at the University of North Texas. Or better still a school in Houston, Texas. Can't recall the name of the school right now. |

Kennyrony, it is advisable not to lie on the DS-160. Anything can come up in the future. A word is enough. |

joenicewake:Okay thanks. Please i have another question. Do I need to take the prerequisite courses since I already have a degree in human anatomy? and if I do, where and how do I take them? I'm a bit confused. |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by Nobody: 7:22pm On Mar 12, 2015 |
BoosBae:Send your transcript and apply as a transfer student so that some courses can be waved. Your academic advisor can answer this question clearly for you. |

BoosBae:You're welcome! Certainly you would have to take some prerequisite courses when you get to America and don't get confused. You'll surely smile later if only you're focused and motivated. |

sirRiddy:hello bro! Pls what platform did u use to pay for the test and what's the total cost including the bank charges? Thanks |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by Nobody: 10:54pm On Mar 12, 2015 |
I used paypal and my gtb mastercard to pay. I have my gtb activated for online banking. 37200 was deducted instead of 36000naira/180dollars that I calculated. Wonder the reason for the extra charges. almonche: |

sirRiddy:GTbank exchange rate is different and fluctuates. |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by Walspring: 11:53pm On Mar 12, 2015 |
sirRiddy: It's due to devaluation of our Naira and rise in dollar. Our Cbn/Banks are thieves because exchange rate used to receive dollars from usa via western union 195, i need para for GTconnect yesterday but if you making payment we will be charged 205 or 210 or more.. Our government bad ooooo |

Walspring:Lol! That's economic transformation they're talking about. I will still say it here that neither Jonathan nor Buhari can take Nigeria to the Promised Land. African leaders are so wicked and self-centered. The funniest thing is those guys have been overseas several times and cannot develop their continent. It's a shame!! 2 Likes |

Walspring: Concerning the date of scheduling for interview, the last time I checked, it was 120 days ( 4 months ) to the resumption date. Was it changed recently to 3 months? Pls house bros wants to make sure no mistakes. |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by Nobody: 8:19am On Mar 13, 2015 |
Walspring:When you're receiving western union, the exchange rate is not set by banks, its general. Now, when you send money to Nigeria, you will get western union exchange rate and they would tell you how much the person is receiving in Nigeria. |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by Nobody: 8:21am On Mar 13, 2015 |
portelli:Its still 120 days, but I see no reason for the hurry to the embassy, why not wait for atleast 90 days, then just incase one gets denied, one can easily schedule for another interview. |

mattkelly:How are we bad as regards the exchange rate? The drop in oil price is the reason why naira was devalued. I guess we didn't plan for the unforeseen occurrence. We need to develop other sector of the economy so we can increase our GDP. 1 Like |

slimmy05:LOL! That's not the reason. The main reason is corruption. Have you witnessed how these guys share our money? That is why the US government always tag them as corrupt Nigerian officials. The air you breath in America is it the same as when you were in Nigeria? Obviously not. Lets just be honest here. country like China for instance is no longer a third world country and that is they get visas so easily, even work visas from their home. If 1,000 Chinese apply for visa, about 995 usually get approved and not quite long ago, they discussed about 10 years visa with the US government 1 Like |

slimmy05: You dont seem to understand my point..Was making reference to what he said about Nigeria Generally..Isnt it the true situation of things?Aint we bad ourselves? When we claim the government is corrupt, aint we corrupt ourselves too? What we deserve is what we get in Nigeria..God bless the Federal republic of Nigeria |

joenicewake:I can't get a clue of what you just typed there. Our youths are getting a lot wrong including you. This is not politics section, I just got to refute the usual Nigerian way of generalizing. Sorry, where did you get that stats from? this is why I usually do ignore your post on here. Lets move on and who the hell told you they don't also get refused visa. Its just a different ball game cos they got alot to offer the US considering the debt US owes China. I don't like typing much about politics, so I would prefer we talk about ladies or visa issues. 1 Like |

Today was really very funny, I met this girl who happens to be a Nigerian, we got talking and exchanged numbers. She called me up the next day and we talked at length, called her yesterday and she said she was making her hair, called her today and she is still making her hair I was like, this chic got some cash. Got to her apt only to find out she was actually doing that all by herself. When she got through, had to take her to my place for lunch, can't imagine the stress of cooking. 1 Like |
