Almost 4 to 1.

If this is a true reflection of the minds of the majority of Nigerians and those eligible to vote have indeed collected their PVCs then Buhari will win.

I'm serious oh!... The after effect of this poll would be a disaster.... persons like FireFire, Barcanista would be in the hospital by now...
Please take this poll down...
No serious PDP person would lose sleep over this funny exercise.

Infact most PDP supporters like me hardly click "like" in a careless online poll like this one.

The PDP controls the grassroots. Even the class size of this poll is very small - about 1,500. Compare this with over 50 million voters expected to vote.

By the time we factor things like the demographics of people voting here and most importantly the issue multiple voting via alternate monikers/usernames, you would see that relying on the results here to celebrate will be akin to living in a fool's paradise.

This Poll has been hijacked by APC hackers.

We need to bring it down for investigation.

How do we do that please? cheesy

I believe Buhari is a man that will take advice from people, and he will surround himself with people to make this nation move forward. People like Amaechi, Fashola, Kwankwaso, Osinbajo e.t.c. These guys have performed well in their states, they need to bring that to the federal level.
.

Wrong. I still remember Babangida's coup speech in 1985. Buhari had many brilliant civilians in his govt. He wasn't and isn't the type that takes advice once he has power. He only delegates to a like-minded person (like Idiagbon). If you're not like-minded, you're frozen out.

Ambitious people like Amaechi & Kwakwanso will fall out quickly with GMB. Fashola, being more tactful, will get along better but may not be very effective, since he won't be a chief executive like in Lagos now. Osinbajo will have issues of Loyalty, trying to make both Tinubu & GMB happy.
Tinubu like always has grand designs for personal gains and Osinbajo will be crucial in actualising them. That won't sit well with GMB & core Northerners that he will surround himself with.

Pa Awo who refused to do business with Northern politicians had good reasons for it.

If not for the fact that PDP would attempt to manipulate the votes (taking into consideration the incumbency factor) Buhari would have won with at least 75% votes cast. no matter the rigging, APC shall win by at least 60%

You mean to tell me that only APC lovers can create new monikers to click like? Even if one person likes both GMB and GEJ, the difference is still clear.

Have you ever heard of 'sampling techniques'? You don't have to meet every Nigerian to tell you their mind of who to vote. This sample can be taken as the people's mind. Look at the gap for Christ's sake! If people actually love GEJ somehow, the gap wouldn't be like this!!!

the same way some APC supporters do not have PVC, some PDP supporters also do not have, so it's a plus minus on both sides

Well, I do have a right to complain that neither of the candidates seem to have an idea about what to do in these hard economic times.

So, why then should I vote? Note that I agree with you that my decison makes no sense....but then again...why should I vote for someone who cannot clearly tell me how the country's economy should be run given the drop in oil prices.

Which leads me to another thing....reading the kind of political discourse on Nairaland can be discouraging. Most Nigerians do not want to think. And that is bad. We have to start being a thinking people...rather than a people who make decisions based on tribal and relgious considerations.

You may laugh at my lack of wisdom(and yes...I do lack a lot of wisdom myself....admitting that has been one reason why I last long in this world wink)...but....let us be frank. I really really want to know how the parties will respond to the economic reality we face. I don't want to wake up five years down the road under another economic disaster that might be worse than the 1980's....because we did not plan much better when we should have.

I am scared....and I have a right to be scared. And no one is answering my fears. And it frankly makes me sad. If it denotes lack of wisdom...so be it.

Good morning.
D least u could have done or say is, "ah, election is here again, dis are so-so & so presidential aspirants wit their various parties buh I don't like any of dem & I won't vote so, whoever wins should pls endevour to take good care of Nigerians economy, goodluck 2 dem all!"

Not dat u come online here & be tellin us Buhari can't savage dis sinkin con3 or Jonathan has not been able to provide electricity in his 6yrs in office! cool
