BTW hate all you want bro.. it wouldn't change the fact that Nigeria is the giant of Africa, the best and the largest black nation in the world. We are the most favoured in Africa. Today ISIS is the terror the sends cold than the spine of allied soldiers. You better be preparing for bombing in your country. Do you have soldiers in ghana at all. Lol by the comments you can just see what the op meant. He asked a mere simple question. Why do Nigerians look down on other Africans and put them down. There is nothing wrong if you feel that you are better, but there is no need for insults and name calling. Then Nigerians will complain that other Africans don't like them or are ' Jealous of them' as the popular saying goes. There is really no need referring to countries like Hiv South Africa, small Kenya, Charcoal Ghana. It's really rude and distasteful yet if these same countries had to call you people 419, juju people etc etc ya'll are the first to complain. That's just what the op was trying to say and I can guarantee you that every African country will agree with the op. Sometimes if many people complain about the same things then it's time to look inwards because everyone cannot be wrong or jealous. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Ilekeh:I agree with your earlier post. It is because of Yorubas that salvage the bad reputation of Nigerians. I used to be under the impression that all Nigerians were 419 and drug traffickers because unfortunately that's what the majority are doing in South Africa till I met some Yoruba people and they were so different from the other Nigerians. That's when I found out about the differences between Yoruba, Igbo etc and not to judge a whole population based on the ones doing bad. I won't lie another misconception I had( and many south Africans have to be honest) was that Nigerian women were ugly cos have never seen an attractive one In South Africa until I got to Nairaland and saw the beauty threads which open my mind up. But yet with all this I never went around insulting or belittling Nigerians because I know that South Africa is not perfect. 7 Likes |

CAMNEWTON4PRES: Nigerian didn't always have the platform it has today; You are a force to be reckoned with, well done. I love the patriotism and wish my people had as much love for their country as I see displayed by Nigerians, Kenyans, Ghanaians etc. It is unacceptable for anyone to look down on another, even worse when the basis is on things that spell self-hate; monkey? really? Who died and declared it ok for an African to call a fellow African monkey or any other derogatory words? You can have Pride, you can feel confident, superior, and successful...BUT remember..."what you eat don't make us shit"...! 1 Like |

Lala247:But the op never said anything bad. He asked a simple question. He never insulted Nigerians. If a question was put to South Africans that why is there a lot of xenophobia I will not insult the op and say they are jealous because I know that xenophobia happens in my country. Sometimes one needs to face the truth even if it's uncomfortable or we don't like it 2 Likes 1 Share |

all4naija:I will be honest. When I first came on this site. It was not to be little Nigerians but to learn more about then because some of us actually like you people. But the constant insulting and crap you people say about other countries makes it hard for them. If one is not careful coming on this site can rather make you hate Nigerians. That's why I just stay away mostly from threads about South Africa because I know how it will be like. 3 Likes |

Which part of Africa are Nigerians dominating? Seems you got fast forwarded in time from last century. Nigeria has the highest concentration of millionaires and billionaires in Africa. Nigeria is also the spiritual headquarters of Africa. With the synagogue morphing into a pilgrimage status latlely. Our artists are household names in many African counties. We have the biggest economy in Africa And the largest market. The entire region of west Africa is dominated by Nigerian firms, banks and entrepreneurs. all4naija: Hahaha lol this thread is getting too funny... 'Smelly Africans' hmmm WOW!!!! Until all Nigerians can afford Deo. roll-on, cologne, wet-wipes etc...you have no business disrespecting the continent Superiority is a state of mind, just because you deem yourself superior does not necessary mean you are. (Ask the white South Africans). Sit down and reflect on that! Arrogance is an ugly trait, it's not looking good on you... You are Nigerian, you should know better; you are not only superior, but you are well-mannered, a model citizen, cultured, God loving...don't let your people down! 1 Like |

i just want you to know; the fact that we say these stuffs doesn't really mean we mean them.. it doesn't mean we hate other African countries,, neither does it necessarily translate to us believing we're superior.. Naturally,, we've got this amazing (twisted) sense of humor.. we say stuffs just to make ourselves feel good.. most times it's just us being funny.. its in us.. it's just us joking.. its us believing in ourselves despite all we've been through and we're presently going through.. You should please stop seeing us like we're forming superior.. Far from it.. take such remarks in good strides.. Nigerians don't care about no one.. we don't feel threatened by other African countries,, so why shud we exhibit insecurity masked in form of claiming superior?? We are who we are.. A happy people.. Proud of our heritage.. Always believing in ourself.. Never giving up.. Black and Bold.. Strong and Sarcastic.. (U can add suffering and smiling) cos we're Cray As fv.ck.. Witty and Weird.. We do us bruh,, what are you doing?? 4 Likes |
