Intimidation of judges, do or die election, fake NIPP projects, taught us that a sitting president can also be a minister of petroleum all through his tenure etc.

in addition Obj commisioned 11 power plants, by the way one of them was recommisioned by GEJ few weeks ago. The railways, 2nd Niger bridge and privatization of PHCN were all conceptualized by OBJ. He also left huge reserves and saved some money in the excess crude account. All his successor needed to do was to continue his programmes using the money he saved.... the rest as they say is history.

Telecoms reform

Banking reform

Pension reform

Nafdac reform

Anti-corruption crusade through EFCC and ICPC.

Power reform

Debt forgiveness

Increased national reserve from 2bn to 35bn

Created visible and verifiable employment.

Created the non-existent middle class

Built Abuja National Stadium

Nigeria was respected in the International commmunity, notwithstanding that Nigeria was a pariah state when he took over. Niger is the one summoning us nowadays and Morocco is refusing to pick our call. Na wa o.

Equipped 5 Teaching hospitals

Railway reform

UBE programme

School feeding programme.

Remember the guy inherited almost zero infrastructure country with looted treasury.

OBJ does not need NTA or AIT to be running propaganda adverts for him because even the cattle seller in Kaura Namoda, fish seller in Ogoja and yam flour trader in Igbeti can see it and testify to it.

I will like to see Jonah's the king of trans-deformation achievements.

People have listed so many achievements of obj regime but I will add just one more.
Obj instituted the local content initiative in the oil and gas sector. This alone created and is still creating more jobs than YOUWIN and other scams of this administration. Major procurement and expertise used to come from abroad but now, there are some classes of equipment and manpower that must be given to Nigerians.
Now I hope you have learnt something new this Monday morning grin

During Obasanjo's tenure Nigeria lost more people to communal, ethnic and sectarian violence, including death by political assassinations.

I can still remember the emasculation of our Armed Forces by Obasanjo. He did it when he came into power in 1999 under the pretext that he was professionalizing the Army and stopping them from planning coups. His minister for defence,Theuphilus Danjuma and Rabiu Kwankwanso oversaw the destruction of the Army, even as massive money was voted in the defence budget.

Compare that with the achievement of gej of empowering only militants. The only group of people gej has affected directly in the oil and gas sector are the militants (with multi-billion dollar security contract) and the sacked oil workers dues to the extremely high level of oil theft (inspite of the security contract given to ex-militants). Now the dude has expanded the juicy contract to include another set of militants in the SW i.e OPC
GEJ is only concerned about pleasing/meeting the insatiable needs of militants

Boko Haram's menace in Northern Nigeria is not a question of Jonathan failing on National Security, but a huge sabotage against Nigeria by elements looking to benefit from his ouster.

I think the telecoms sector created thousands of jobs in hundreds of thousands. To me, that was a huge achievement.
Obasanjo did reform the banking system and that up income levels for stakeholders in that sector.
The IPP and NIPP stations were built
He constructed Abuja stadium and reformed the FCT
He secured over $25billion income for Nigeria thru debt forgiveness
He started anti corruption drive in Nigeria
He changed NEPA to PHCN preparing the ground for unbundling of a comatose enterprise
He started the railway resuscitation
Through his earlier policy, allowed many Nigerians to own cars, remember the season of Opel?
Obasanjo picked Nigeria from the burdens of the military, killed the ambition of IBB
Obj made some mistakes and the biggest was to give GEJ to Nigeria
