Dear E-fam I just arrived New york yesterday via JFK. I flew arik and I can't say what my eye see with arik o. I didn't know I couldn't fly at them late in pregnancy and found out a week to my flight, but thank God I wasn't showing. I still got a fit to fly from my doc stating I was 26 weeks and but I was 34 weeks. I got there and the lady there asked if I was pregnant. I told her yes, she them asked for my fit to fly I gave her only for her to tell me that she can't accept it cos I needed to have presented a one from a govt hospital. Sho wetin be dis now. I just gave it to her straight that where was it on their site that stated govt hospital. So pls make sure that it is govt hospital one you have for them o. Eventually she said she will show her manager. The guy saw it and requested to see me. When he saw me, he told her to accepted it, I guess be cos I was not really showing.round 1 over , we start round 2; 12 hrs delay arik has done it again. Anyways someone stowaway and died and that was when delay started o. We eventually flew and arrived jfk. Drama come start. Round 3: See that stupid immigration guy asked me why I was coming to us ? I told him for vacation and to have a baby . He said who told me I have a right to have a baby in us ? I told him I wasnt aware I didn't have a right to have a baby on us. Then he said I better go back to my country. I told him that I had lost 2 pregnancy and I wanted better medical health. He asked if i told them at the embassy that i was going to have a baby. Told him i didnt need to cos i has travelled severally to the us and i did dropbox and by the way i wasnt pregnant when i did dropbox. He said that didn't matter that I was going back to my country . He then told me to stamp my fingers and took my pic. Then he took the passports and said I shld follow him that I am going back to my country. All the guy kniw say na u are going back.Omo that is how another delay start o. I was over calm, cos I weighed it all. I had all the requirements, if worse happens , I was going to tell them I wanted to see a doc who would certify me fit to fly and I knew I was hypertensive so I was planning not to take my drugs. BP would have been way up then they will tell me how I would return back. Anyway eventually a guy called me. But he looked nicer. And asked y I was there and I told him. He said that am I paying and I said yes. He asked how much I had, I told him. Then he said do I have doc bill and I said yes and showed him documents Then he said how many weeks was I? Told him 34. He said how long I am staying for . Said 3mths . Stamps passport and said I can go. A beg pls be prepared .Jfk or no Jfk, There are racists out there and be prayerful. GOD HELP US ALL.AMEN 18 Likes |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by drafrican: 11:08am On Mar 16, 2015 |
My VO experience That lovely day I wore one of my best suits and a really strong sweet cologne lol Well I got into the hall and discovered you stand for the interview(weird) I had batched all my documents I.e hubby's finances,my health records, hospital correspondence, hubby's employment, My employment, my finances and baby's birth plan would upload it later...... Back to d hall I could hear d voice of one Indian man "you don't know why you are going to school in the USA , you do not qualify for the visa at this time" The interviews are abnormally short and brief and I learnt a few things, don't say what you are not asked, don't show documents when not asked or it looks like ur desperately trying to prove a point, smile smile smile and don't give one word answers but don't say too much too.respond to each question and learn small fonee d accent Na die They just kept giving blue cards to everybody only one person got a white slip .....lucky me I was sent to that same person A lady about 28/32 with Afro and glasses I have never been to the USA but I had my 3rd 2yr uk visa running, I attached my old and new passport to show a travel history. Hubby was outside praying.....lol Me:good morning ma (smile ) VO: hello good morning Passport please Me: smiled and handed it over VO: flips through, types on computer I see you are headed to maryland ,why? Me: to have my(son/ daughter) and to shop VO: what do you do for a living Me: bleep VO: what's your work Me: (confused) I am responsible for...... Remembered I filled it online VO: how much do you earn .... Me:less than 200k ( yes that's the truth so it's not by salary say same with what's on your form )smile Vo:what does your husband do Me: told her his 3 jobs VO:how much does he earn in a month Me: (hubby has a long hx of USA travel she was prob viewing it) it's hard to tell but he makes earnings from salary and investment such as ...... VO: do you have a hospital correspondence Me :yes VO: how did you hear about them Me: from my husbands relative that works there VO: can I see it Me : smile and handed it over to her I already attachéd birthplan to it too late to start separating VO: who would you be staying with Me : sis in law VO: who prepared this birthplan Me: I wrote it out and my husband typed it( it was pink with hearts on it lol) VO: how long Me:about 3 months VO: you need to keep all this records and show them at arrivals. Pick up your visa on Monday Me: thank you ma VO: what's your maiden name Me:...... Oh you still use your maiden name yes VO : smiles Only document shown was email correspondence and birth plan I think we need to help others it's not just VO questions that matter but the answers Left the hall and caught up with the other guy they gave the visa, it was his first visa too but he had been to d uk Saw preggies as I left at 8:30 lol nairalanders Wud be glad to answer any questions. 14 Likes |

Hi all, Just a quick update about my friend that wanted to change his Ds 160confirmation number. so he went to the interview with his fiance with both confirmation slips. He signed in with the old form but when he got to the interview all, he told the officer that he made a mistake on the old form and he tried changing it online but he couldn't do it. So they had their interview and guess what? they were granted. So pls, any information about dallas hospitals would be appreciated. |

Hello people, kindly help!!! - Does one with birtitsh passport require a visa for birthing in the US - This passport is non transferable to children (before some people start asking why not consider the UK for birthing) - If one requires a visa what is the process like? - if the visa is not required what is the process like. Remember that those with the UK passport have a waiver to the US for 90 days maximum without a visa. Would appreciate your responses. Thank you |
