It's no news that masturbation addiction is very hard to quit. It's no news also that being addicted to masturbation creates a lot of problems for the individual. Personally I've experienced some of this problems and several people addicted to this act have shared similar complains both here on nairaland and other places.

I started masturbating at an early age and i continued almost consistently for about 9 years now. I have experienced several problems which i can attribute (though not entirely) to frequent masturbation. Such problems range from a consistent fall in academic performance, weakness of the body at odd times, low immunity, poor social life, poor skin tone, premature ejaculation among others.

I've tried severally to quit the act, but after little progress i relapse back. I must continue trying until i succeed cos i just can't continue like this.

I know many guys out there experience same problem with me and are equally willing to stop. Though seemingly difficult, we can overcome this terrible addiction TOGETHER. Lets come in here and register our interest to help each other. We can share our challenges, difficulties and progress. This is an unanimous forum so you've got nothing to be ashamed about. You can even create a new account if you think your current account is not discreet enough.

Please guys who had this addiction before can also come in and advice us. Your success story might help someone.

*stop visiting sexuality section
*anytime you come across anything that has sexuality content online, just skip it.
*avoid being alone always.
*clear your mind. stop fantasying about naked woman. stop imagining fvcking that busty girl in your department. just stop.

you know you cant just stop masturbating at once. rather, you got to minimize the rate which you do it. eg: if you masturbate everyday or twice a day. you have to try and minimize it to once a day. or 3 days. after that, you try once a week. before you know it, you see yourself breaking the addiction.

and lastly, pray. ask God to help you.

From experience i believe so. FREQUENT masturbation saps your strength both mentally and physically. You easily forget things and always feel dull.
