Trying not to generalise. But you'd agree with me that this seems like it in the typical/traditional Nigerian setting.

Are women not expected to pamper their husbands?
cook his food, wash his clothes, clean after him.

In fact, some people call their husbands 'big babies'
He is their first child.

And what is wrong in all the aforementioned if the man accord same if not more affection to his woman?

I cook his food, wash his clothes, clean after him, call him babe, infact he's my first child I catered to alone for years before kids started rolling in grin grin

People should learn to mind their own business and do what works for their families. It's not one size fits all Biko.

After she does all of the above, what do you do for her? You complain that she does not dress sexy, smells of maggi and is too tired to satisfy you in bed.You complain of her saggy br.east even when you fight for ownerahip with the children and made it so cheesy .

To help her with the chores, wahala. mama from the village sef must not hear.

There are good Nigerian men though.

How wrong?
Are most women not weighed down by combining the home front with husbands who only add to the work load instead of being supportive.

Hardworking women deserve to die of stress while their husbands read newspapers and watch TV?

very wrong. The picture you posted depicts a woman as been everything. If women know that they can do everything and they understand that a man is just an additional baggage then i see no reason why they should get married in the first place. And you should understand that what suits Family A does not suit Family B, the models of each family is different. And you should stop painting a picture of women are labourers because they are not. In a family, everyman has is role and if the man is not playing the role he should play then something is either wrong morally, spiritually or financially and if the woman can fill the void pending the time the man resumes his duty, so be it and if the woman cannot withstand the heat she should get out of the kitchen.

No. It does not depict a woman as being everything. It speaks of the woman's responsibility in catering for the family's needs. The man should support her. Rather, he expects care like a child.

The other parts of your write up are disjointed. I donno what ur rant is about

Your blanket assertion is ridiculous otherwise You sound like the wife in question.

How's my post out of context? We are discussing typical Naija marriage and my response was in line with it. Any chance to throw cheap jabs eh? grin I no vex sha. 'Too blessed to be stressed' cool Good morning.

If we ask this OP now if she saw/experienced this growing up at home, she'd say no. What about your brothers and uncles, do they lead similar lives? Absolutely not! But somehow, she confidently makes sweeping assertions about every other Nigerian house-hold except those associated with her.

True to type!
