The most important political position the Igbos have ever held since the civil war was the VP slot gotten by Alex Ekwueme in the second republic. Buhari and his gang terminated their government and the Igbos have suffered politically ever since. Ekwueme would been president years later if not for actions of Buhari and his military friends. Buharis military regime, also led to the termination of the administration of the great Sam Mbakwe, the best governor Imo and Abia states have ever had. If Ijaws have never voted for Igbos, the hausa/fulanis are worse. They (Hausa/Fulani) won't vote for an Igbo president and they tend kill Igbos or destroy their properties in the north if their popular northern candidates lose. So which is worse? Jonathan is not a perfect president, nobody says he is but accusing him of being incompetent is actually nonsense. 2 Likes |

After watching this video all i see is a sentimental fool.The fact that Jonathan an his people gave ojukwu less than 3000 votes is nothing.They are igbos in bayelsea state why didn't they vote Ojukwu.The roads connecting the eastern states are well under construction various threads has been created here supporting it.I don't really think igbos are intrested in presidency.Being the president does not make your region the best or best developed for example the north with 38 years of power is still a dump.Our people are more intrested in somebody that will create a favourable business climate and GEJ is the man.Blaming jonathan for abandoned properties is just plain mischeif. The SS has always been aligned with the north. The south south was very prominent in the NPN government that Buhari overthrew. In fact it was because of the SS that Awo and Zik never became president. Ikwerre people are sitting on billions of dollars in Ibo properties as we speak, not hausa fulani people. Ibos make, have made and will continue making billions in the north irrespective of all the falsehood and thrash that JRP (Jonathan Re election Party) not even PDP keeps spreading. 4 Likes |

Let us remove the historical ethnic and political aspect from the argument, this guy made a legitimate case against Jonathan which can be made anywhere in the country. Rochas will be the first Igbo president... I know for sure... APC remains the only platform to grant such request.. Rochas understands how the Polity is played and he understands that under the PDP led govt, Ndigbo would be Marginalized... But we all know the east had always been neck deep in slave trade. And seem to be the only ethnic group which segregates some of it's citizens and calls them slaves - the OSU. The igbo where also one of the worst human right violators during the European conquest - they and the ijaws where involved in slave trade (transportation and sales) in Nigeria until the last days of the slave trade abolishment. Stop trying to confuse us, here ooh - many of us do not read wikipedia like your brothers we actually read books . It really does not matter who wins the 2015 election because either way power is returning to the north via apc on the 28th of march or pdp in 2019 and then to the west/niger-delta or middle belt . |
