This is the official thread fir the covenant university 2015/2016 session. I created this thread because I needed a thread like this before I entered CU but coulfnt find one. So drop your questions and I would try my best to answer. or refer you to parts of their website that can. you can also ditect aspirants you know to this thread. I look foward to your questions. This is to inform prospective students that the screening process might be stricter that this years own. I know this because I have a female friend back home who has nothing to do and she applied to covenant.and didn't even appear in any of the admission lists released. I entered very narrowly because I had a jamb score of 180 on the dot- lucky right? I decided to work harder and got 40/60 in the post jamb. but still that wasn't enough to get admitted to architecture which entered for. but it still got me into building technology which is still within my field. I had a friend who applied for comp. science but was given industrial maths which was probably because he got about 23 in his post jamb. so please perform well in your jamb and post jamb. not forgetting to pick the right combination of subjects in jamb and Waec or which ever O ' level result u decide to use. check your jamb brochure and the links below for info on subject combinations 4 Likes 1 Share |

Marsatto: i see the problem... i hav the same problem here... i would advise you to wait till after the JAMB exams have been written to try again mean while, you should get the follow documments ready because you would have to upload them ""ONLINE APPLICATION FORM Submission of the electronic application form will activate your admission consideration process. All electronic documents submitted in support of the application should be submitted according to the guidelines outlined below. Click here to start your application. NON-REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEE The application form fee is a non-refundable fee. The application form can be saved with a view to completing it at a later date. The application can only be submitted after payment. The application fee can be paid by credit card (i.e. Interswitch). You may also pay via quick teller. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE A 500-word statement of purpose should be prepared and submitted online with the application. The personal statement should address your intellectual interests, academic and professional objectives, visions and goals for life. Please review the academic programmes for details. UPLOADING OF CREDENTIALS The application would only be considered completed if you upload the following credentials: Birth Certificate Scanned 2015 JAMB result with your passport clearly visible on it. WAEC or NECO (if available) Letter of Sponsorship by Parents/Guardian/Sponsor PRINCIPAL AND PASTORAL REFERENCE LETTERS Two official recommendations are required for your application to be completed. These recommendations must be from persons in position to appraise your potential for undergraduate study at Covenant University. These persons could include the following: Spiritual Leader, Principal or any teacher from your school. Covenant University requires the use of the online recommendation system, which utilizes an online system that will: Automatically email your recommendation providers with instructions for online submission of the recommendation. Allow applicants to track recommendations received or not received and follow up with recommenders who still need to submit their appraisals. Expedite the processing of the recommendations, which will be included in the online application once submitted. Automatically notify you when recommendations have been received."" http://admission.covenantuniversity.edu.ng/undergraduate-applications-national/ 1 Like 2 Shares |

Re: Covenant University 2015/2016 Session Aspirants Lets Meet Here by Nobody: 12:34pm On Mar 18, 2015 |
DatguyTim: according to their admissions website "A 500-word statement of purpose should be prepared and submitted online with the application. The personal statement should address your intellectual interests, academic and professional objectives, visions and goals for life. Please review the academic programmes for details." the sponsorship letter should be writtten by whoever is going to be paying you school fees stating that they are going to be responsible for your education and they are capable of doing it. since it is a formal letter, it should be short and precise..probablt two paragraphs and not more than one page |
