You have made your point Chibu, no need to spread panic and to keep reiterating the same message over. Let people decide on their own; we are all matured minds in here. THANK YOU.

Nice message, bro. For all we care, a couple of things are involved:

1. This dude doesn't see anything wrong in repeating the same message over and over again, which says a lot about his personality, especially SELF-CONTROL.

2. He actually has the liberty to post whatsoever he wishes as NL is accessible to those who abide by the rules guiding comments.

3. Many people of his calibre can afford a smartphone which they use to unleash their acts on the Internet. Please, blame this on Tecno, LG, et al grin

4. There's an entity termed "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder". I would advise the bear himself to Google this and, perhaps, see the experts.

Above all, it is advisable that those who don't subscribe to his style be wary of cyber-bullying. Life comes in different shades, and if myjoy08 enjoys enough patronage on this thread, the pRoPhEt himself is also entitled to some NL space. We can only skip to the next comment!

The only folks I feel for are the newbies - they may be fed with indefensible philosophy. (NB Moneysage isn't a repertoire of sound ideas; "I know nothing"wink

My 2cent info @all referencing father of 2 and debenzd feb 28, 2008. For those who have issues with cico, jijo, gigo, riro etc. Try to read father of 2 threads. He has a lot of info there. He never buys when the stocks are expensive, he always circles out to cheaper stocks or waits till the price has dropped to levels lower than what he originally bought, when he positions for 9 months, he stays there till the end of the year is over. There is no sentiment about any stock. In between he takes out only the profit to invest in other stocks. The reason being that there may still be profit to be made from such stocks. In addition, the time frame is usually 0 - 3 months and anything in between . He is always willing to wait it out till he has reached his target. To all newbies do your research on father of 2. Bye bye

I will advice you start using one of the online trading platforms directly linked to NSE (eg meritrade and itrade) where you can buy and sell your shares realtime. Some stockbrokers still play hanky panky with investors' money.

I use meritrade and I am very impressed with them. You can monitor stocks by yourself, place orders without human intervention etc. You can also place an order and get your trade notification in seconds. Shares are also directly linked to your CSCS account so even if your broker collapses any time, your shares are fully secured, no story. So act fast.

thank you for your response, I looked up meritrade website and I saw minimum amount to open with is 50k, my question is can I still use that money and buy stocks?

Sir, wetin i do naah? We are listening to the warning of the bear and we hope we will keep hearing that till Jesus come. When you see continuous and relentlessness warning like that, it shows the real personality of such individual. And the fact that, such individual had missed some important rally and hoping to persuade others to fall into his categories of unprepared decision of negligence. So nothing new about that. One thing i know is that election will come and go and reality will set in. For the newbies, election is not a war and Nigerians in general hoped and wished for the best except the Sadducees among us. With God on our sides in Nigeria, we will surely laugh last and the warning bell concerning the bear will erased (in a short period of time) as Madam Big stated. God bless Nairaland family! God bless Nigeria!

We are making money this year by his grace!

The company said in its corporate action with the Nigerian Stock exchange (NSE) that qualification date for investors to benefit from the proposed dividend is April 24; while its annual general meeting (AGM) has been scheduled for April 28 and closure date March 25.

Pls I need clarification on the information above: Which date from above do I need to hold the company s shares to benefit from there dividend,is it April 24th or the closure date which is March 25th. Thanks house

Qualification date for AFRIPRUD was yesterday, 17th March, 2015. If you didn't own the shares at the end of yesterday, you shouldn't get the dividend.

Optimism in the face of temporary adversity is a test result earned over time.its not found in boys but men of lustre market know hows.

We are waiting for transcorp result! On or before the election. #TonyStark

If certain events line up, the election bear may not survive after the election so the latter part of next week may be the best time to dive into the market. You do not want to miss the raging post election bull if the results favour the status quo.

Odikwa egwu.

ETI sold for N300 in 2007/2008 then fell to N10 in 2008/2009. FO was selling around N400 before it fell to N7. It just rebounded about 2years ago to its current price N185. So in the stock market impossible is nothing as nothing is impossible. smiley

I think the stocks to look out for are those that will be releasing results immediately after the election - especially the ones with good dividend yield or good bonus. That is where the bull is likely to break out from.
