Atheists do have faith really but it’s obvious that they do not have Christian faith. If they did, they’d be Christians.

Let me enlighten you on the articles of faith. Articles of faith are found in all religious ideologies in the world. It simply tell you to believe that God this, God did that without subjecting those claims to an empirical analysis. Our christian brothers and sisters believe that God created the world in 7 days. There is no scientific proof for this. The articles of faith simply tell you to believe the story. And that's all. Now you can't subject same 'belief' thing to the way an atheist thinks. He follows scientific reasoning in his everyday activities. Atheists don't believe the big bang theory. There is nothing to belief here because it is still a theory. But it is still a whole better than believing that God created this world in 7 days.
An atheist whole point is not that there is no God. It goes much further than this. Even if there is a God, what kind of God is he? A God that can punish innocent generations for the sins of their fathers and mothers. A God that hated Essau and Jacob for no reason. A God that put 'the forbidden fruit' in the Garden of Eden knowing that Adam and Eve will taste it. That God is certainly very very bad. We take solace on the fact that he doesn't exist.

Atheists do not claim the Big Bang theory to be a fact. It's just a theory not yet a fact. But unlike the story of creation in most religions, this one is scientifically possible.

The question you people have not been asking yourselves:
If the universe is too complex to exist by chance and was created, then God who is greater than the whole universe must also have been created by something greater which must have been created by something greater. If we follow this theory, there cannot be a first creator.

If I say that I believe Buhari will make a better President, I'm only suggesting that he may be better than Jonathan. If you ask me further, I will say that something tells me that he will be better than the current president. Same thing goes for when I say I belief my girl friend loves me. This type of belief is always anchored on the point that there are things we just have hope it is the way we want it to be. Things like boarding a bus and hope that we get to our destination.
But will due respect, this type of 'belief' or 'faith' is different from a Religious belief. Adherents of a particular religion simply adhere to such religious doctrines because they are simply told to do so. And they accept without questioning.
