This businesses are quite lucrative and could even make you a millionaire and they are 1)Public toilet ownership : I have forgotten were i heard that phrase that 'shi.t business is serious business', but for the past 2yrs, i have started believing that the statement is true, a man i know, who started this public toilet business 3yrs ago is now doing fine for himself, in a day atleast 100 people use his toilets at the rate of 40naira, netting him 4k, after expenses he nets atleast 3k per day, this business viability is in markets, motor parks and maybe crowded areas, if u go start public toilet for banana island, you are on your own oh. 2 Likes |

Palm oil storage: Usually, in Nigeria, palm oil sells cheapest between February and April (because it is abundant during that time of the year), and market prices go up between September and January. So, if you buy 1000 liters of palm oil when it’s cheap, keep it, and sell it when the prices go up, you can make between 100% to 200% profit or even more depending on the scarcity and on your location within Nigeria. It’s the same story in other countries where there is huge demand for palm oil. In Nigeria, a 20 liter can of palm oil sells for N3,000 – N4,000 during the abundant season (depending on your location). During the scarcity period, that same 20 liter can goes for N5,000-6000 sometimes more, imagine using 500k to buy and store in the abundant season at 3k each to resell for 6k in 3months time, that will net u 500k profit 1 Like |

Laundry/Dry cleaning This business could be quite lucrative, i did a feasibility study on the man who handles my laundry and discovered that atleast 50 clothes are brought to him for washing and ironing in a day and his rates are cheap, 50naira for washing, 50 naira for ironing, at that rate he makes atleast 5k a day, minus expenses he will still pocket 4k a day, its not until u rent a fancy shop and install ac with dstv, u can start washing clothes in your backyard 1 Like |

Pick up/Toyota dyna Hiring buying a pick up truck or dyna and using it haul goods around your vicinity could be quite lucrative, I know a man who has his own dyna, the cheapest he charges to haul goods is 2k, and on a good day he works like 3 to 4times netting him 6k to 8k, sometimes he makes more, this business is viable in timber markets, ports, building materials markets, and sometimes introduce yourself to warehouse owners, drop your number with them incase the have goods to haul, the might call u, my best advice for someone who wants to venture into this business is, don't buy a pick up truck and give someone to drive for u to avoid stories that touch, a friend of mine bought dyna 1.4million for someone to drive and make returns to him, the first 3 months he complied with the 4k daily returns rate as agreed, but after that it was one story to another, some days the driver will give him 2k or 3k, before we knew it, dude came one day and packed the dyna and told my guy that he was tired of riding it, that the car was giving him too many problems, e no reach 1 month were we see as the guy go buy im own nigerian used dyna dey drive, my guy here never even see im own capital first 1 Like 2 Shares |

fghanni: Work Smarter, not Harder. Sure, it's a cliche, but even cliches have some truth to them. If you have a repetitive task, why not try automating it with software? It's easier than you think. If you're trying to get more customers for your business, why not get a new website, logo, or even an iPhone or Android app that can attract them for you? If you're stuck with some boring data entry, why not hire an expert freelancer that can do it for you? There's no sense working harder on tasks where you can work smarter. 1 Like |
