Yet to find where to buy African food in Brisbane. Getting tired of all this junk meal. Abeg, anybody near brisbane should tell me where I can get African food ooh, and please don't tell me to read all the whole post to find it, Lectures and assignment has not given me enough time to explore this town. |

AYABOYO AND BOSSLADYMO PLEASE RESPOND, HERE IS MY QUESTION AGAIN[ I'M trying to relocate my family to Australia, I want to know which process is better, STUDENT VISA OR THE WORK PERMIT. I have a degree in Business Info Tech from a Uk uni and my wife B.ed in educational management. I have gone through the work permit and skills needed in Australia and I see that I could take up the ICU manager as required on the list of jobs. I want to know how realistic the work permit is, we all know it could be very cumbersome in the case of Canada. Also if the advise is to apply as a student, what post graduate course is good with high prospect to get a PR in the country after study. Please my e-friends I need your contributions OTHER NAIRALANDERS PLEASE CONTRIBUTE, THANKS 1 Like |

Doyen06. You need to marry this site. www.immi.gov.au. You need to check the SOL and CSOl list to check if ur job is in demand. off the cuff, if your wife has teaching experience, she might stand a chance. Sorry for not being able to give you more details, I used an agent cos I know I do not have the patience and time to peruse document, apply for assessment etc. 2 Likes |

doyen06: WHy do you need an agent. It is something you can do yourself. You have everything you need but you refused to explore. Even with the agent, you will still do everything yourself and pay someone for doing nothing. Everything you need is on www.skillselect.gov.au The steps, process, assessment etc. If you painstakingly go through the site, I bet you don't need any spoon-feeding. Get on to the site and get to work. Most of us did it ourselves by reading the site and checking other related site, thanks to the internet. 2 Likes |

How many years work experience do have cos from my little knowledge I know ACS ur assessing body will deduct 2 years from ur years of experience. I think ur process wld probably be obtain transcript which is just a phone call away having attended uni in uk, register for, ielts, get assessed by ACS, when u have positive outcome from IELTS and ACS, apply for EOI, Apply for proof of functional English from wife's sec school or higher institution, Receive invite, supply all docs required, get grant. The entire process should take about 6 months. 1 Like |
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Nobody: 3:51pm On Mar 19, 2015 |
@ AYABOYO I have 5 year experience and she has about 6 years, 3 before her degree and 3 after she's got the degree. I have a transcript from my school already dunno if I can use that? Do I have to do the IELTS exam first before I apply to the ACS? Please gimmie the number of the agent as I'm a very busy person and I need guidance while I go through the process. |
