4 Romantic Gestures By The Prophet by babs01(m): 7:54am On Mar 17, 2015 |
The Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wassalam) was a leader of a nation and the greatest of worshipers. Yet he still managed to spend quality time with his wives and show them such sweet love, romance and compassion. 1. One time Aisha (radi Allahu anha) asked the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wassalam), "how much do you love me?” He answered, "like a strong binding knot." Later as time went by, she would occasionally ask him, "how is that knot?” He answered, "as strong as the first day." 2. Even during her menses, the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wassalam) while in I’tikaf would lean back into his house from the masjid and place his head on Aisha’s lap. She would oil and comb his hair. 3. When a Sahabi asked the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wassalam) who he loved the most, he answered, “Aisha.” When the Sahabi tried to illicit the answer he was looking for, he asked him again, “who from the men?” Again, the Prophet answered still with reference to his wife and said, “her father.” 4 . When Aisha recalled to the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wassalam) a fable about a couple’s romantic and passionate love that ended in tragic divorce beyond their control, the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wassalam) told her, “my love for you is like theirs except that I am never going to divorce you.” The Prophet’s Sunnah is full of romantic instances from which we can take inspiration in our own marital lives. ~Yasir Qadhi 1 Like 1 Share |

Prophet Muhammad is the best role model for mankind! I sometimes wonder if our men are aware of this. Quite a handful of them are unromantic |

^^^^ Who says women are less attractive? It depends on your definition of attractiveness! The issue of 'unattractiveness' applies more to the male folks. You hardly find an attractive man nowadays, all you guyz spend your time thinking about is how to make money, you don't seem to care about your appearance, making you look less attractive unlike the female folks that spend more time taking care of their looks, our looks are more important to us |

kemiola89: Kemiola89....Which area you don dey waka for? Where you only meet unattractive males. I guess you want us spending 4 hours daily in front of the mirror like you ladies do. Multiply that hours by 365days and look at the number of man hour lost trying to appear "fake". Yeah, taking care of yourself doesn't have to go overboard and most guys do that. Trim fingernails, have their haircut regularly and dress modestly. |

onegig:Nobody's telling you to be fake! Just take care of your look. Actually, you don't have to spend 20mins doing that. Some guys don't know when to visit the barbers shop you just have to remind them, you see them walking around with bushy hair and dirty boxers. BTW, I'm not sexist I'm just replying babs01 that thinks female are unattractive. 1 Like |
