youmour:if you look good then you are an exception, I had ijaw guys in my class during my undergraduate days, they were mostly very dark skinned and dry like stock fish. |

firstEVA: Yea,we are majorly dark skinned,wouldnt say dry like stock fish but we are fit,its naturally in our genes.i know tons of ijaw people (friends,family) who will make you have a different perspective.we are timid and quiet by nature so we dont brag and boast about our looks unlike other tribes |

firstEVA: At first bolded: The reason is simple: A lot of our names have TAMARA, meaning God, added as a prefix. Its already 6 letters. When you add TARE, meaning love to it, it becomes TAMARATARE, pretty long...and you cant shorten or abbreviate it.... At second bolded; my wife says that to me almost EVERYDAY! |
