zuggy:I also had issues paying the application fee, someone in Canada helped. But Conestoga college just introduced an international admissions portal and I think you can now make an online payment with a debit card.. This is the link. http://www.conestogac.on.ca/international/app/index.jsp 1 Like |

hello house, i got back my doc from th vac center today. and the below is what the vo said in quote "YOU HAVE NOT SATISFIED ME THAT YOU WOULD LEAVE CANADA AT THE END OF YOUR STAY, IN REACHING THIS DECISION, I CONSIDERED SEVERAL FACTORS, INCLUDING 1. YOUR TRAVEL HISTORY 2. LENGTH OF PROPOSED STAY IN CANADA 3. YOUR PURPOSE OF VISIT 4. YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYMENT SITUATION 5. YOUR PERSONAL ASSETS AND FINANCIAL STATUS. Please house have decided to differ my admission to Sept or Jan so that i will have enough time to tackle the issue, Secondly i just started my 6month short course in marine engineering with the Nigerian merchant Navy, which i will be through with in Sept. And i want to know if i can change my course from business admin/human resources management to Marine engineering since am already doing a short course on. please house i seriously need your sincere advise and contribution. thanks |

Ugochux:no dont think so... check this site www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/work-student_etudiant-travailler.aspx?lang=eng Excerpt... how to apply If you meet the conditions stated above, do not make a separate application for a work permit and do not pay an additional fee for a work permit. Follow the standard procedure to apply for a study permit , with one extra step: In your study permit application, include a letter from the Canadian educational institution stating that employment is an essential part of your program of study. Underline or highlight this information in the letter. |
