Let me tell u guys, normally ur name suppose 2 b in their data base if u wrote the online test so when u r asked ur unique Id they will key it in is normal, but there is a unique system for those that where invited where their names are onced u key d unique code it will appear. So for dose who did everything successfully, is just phase 1 then u wud b screened tru dt system. Bkos so many persons that did nd thought they where sucessful, it wud hurt to knw that many files where dumped. |

Candidates with d sms of 16th march as at yesterdayz morning were all seperated and sent away after they hv partook in all the processes except accreditation. They FRSC woman said dat d sms was not from faan, whereas dat sms was d 3rd i got from the same route. 1st was TEST invite, 2nd reshedulin of my test and 3rd was d interview invite of 16th. So stop doubtn wat u dnt knw |

lanzo:hw many piple ar employing per state. because my frnd dat earlier failed pft on 14th was invited to com on 16th reason being dat my state delta didnt complete d numb of taget candidates datz was why she n odas in dis same category was reinvited despite being dsqaulifyd. hope dey take evrybody dat made it to final. my fellows hw many slot per state is alloted for dis faan job |

Ejimike: pondering on that anyway.... in Delta state 26 were shortlisted for security cadets.... probably some will drop from d physical training while I know the interview was just formalities.... if u can talk to them well in d interview u are good to go..... if u are short and I mean ur height then u are definitely out of it.... am sure they will take up to 20 from each states.... my guess |

what happened in this faan recruitment is highly embarrasing,they intentional did this to add more pains to battared nigerians unemployed youths.for me i received the so called sms by 7:36PM on tuesday 16/03/2015 to go to my nearest centre for my faan pft.iam staying at Illela local govt.of sokoto state,Illela is 100km from sokoto town but 5km to niger republic.Though i was not prepared but immediately i got the sms,i swing into actions to arrange myself, i was fortunate my goods friends helped me to move that night(1.30 am) i heed to kaduna which is the nearest centre to me.to ensured that i arrived as early as possible,i had to charted car only me from sokoto to kaduna because of lack of passengers and i want to meet up but to my suprised when i reached the gate, after i was bombarded with questions by the sss officers at the gate i was asked to leave because they officers had gone back on wednesday, i was nearly broke down because the loss to me is too much.now my boss we deduct the days i was not present at work,deduct 2days pay from #5000 which i been paid as nce holder and i had to pay the one i borrowed from my friends.plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss,faan you had to reshedule another time for us that received the sms to show your opennewnss ,transperence which you had been saying from the beginnig of this exercise.. |

it is disheartning that FAAN decided to end the recruitment process this way,weather you receive a text message or not as long as you pass the 50% cut off you are qualified for an interview,I know of a guy that took flight all the way from kano to lagos for DMO11 interview he was told to that is text message was from a wrong source and also a friend from anambra was told the sam The only way that this recruitment process can be free and fair to all Nigerians is for FAAN to invite everybody that scored above 50% and conduct interview for them,after which they can now select the best. moreover if it can take them 2weeks to conduct the test 1day should not be enough for the interview.if urgent steps are not taking it will affect GEJ negatively ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. 2 Likes |

Read the website and u will know requisite for selecting pple. even in school, 40 is passmark but in every process, be it employment or admission, they will tell u to get at least 5 credits(C) including english and maths, not 5 passes(Ds) to qualify. In some cases they would even tell, in not more than one sitting. My father would say, strive hard to get high scores in exams becos in every screening, when pple become toomuch, they will narrow it to higher scores to be able to select. 3 Likes |

ok10: That would have just been counter-productive. Keep in mind, a very large majority of those who partook in the screening exercise are very happy with the process. The decision was taken to choose those with the highest scores from each state obviously to reduce bottlenecks which could arise from shortlisting too many candidates. Keep in mind again, that candidates were competing against others from their states. As usual when due process doesn't favour us, we like shifting the goal posts. People started sending bulk sms to themselves either in an attempt at mischief or simply to sabotage the process. This is probably what led to a few of the cases of rejection some posters here have highlighted. I'm sure FAAN will in due course tender their unreserved apologies to those wrongly affected by this. 2 Likes |

PROCESS FOR SHORTLISTING Values guiding the process: Transparency, Openness, Equity, Fair Treatment Below is the process being implemented for the shortlisting of candidates. All applications were pre-screened for Aptitude Test against the established criteria that was designed and advertised. The total shortlisted were 36,657. This includes candidates from the hard copy applications as well as online applications. A unique log-in name and password was created for each shortlisted candidate to be used for the Aptitude Test. This incorporated the unique ID created for each candidate at the application stage, How targets were set and allotted to states: For the AGM we targeted 20 candidates to be shortlisted for the one headcount. For all other positions we targeted 6 candidates to be shortlisted per head count. The total target shortlist for each job was allotted to States based on the Federal Character spread. All 36,657candidates were notified via text messages and email with their log-in to go online and take the test. Testing was conducted on two websites. Once the results were collated, they were sorted according to “job applied for” then sorted again for percentage grade. The list of candidates who scored 50% and above were extracted and analyzed into three groups: 70% and above 60%-69%, 50%-59%. The top performer list (70% and above) for each State is shortlisted first starting with the highest scorer until the State’s lot is filled. If the State’s lot from step (7) above is filled, then there is no more shortlisting for that state for the job. If the State’s lot from step (7 ) above is not completely filled then the next best group (60%-69%) from that State is shortlisted starting from the highest to the lowest. If the State’s lot from step (9) above is completely filled then there is no more shortlisting for that state for the job. If the State’s lot from step (9) above is not completely filled then the next best group (50%-59%) from that State is shortlisted for that job. If after step (xi) above, a State’s lot is still not filled, the remaining lot is allotted to another state in the same geopolitical zone (starting with the State with the highest performance in that zone) until the lots completely filled. If the lot for a job in a geopolitical zone is not completely filled, it is allotted to the highest performing state in the region of the country. If the lot is still not filled at the regional level, it is then thrown open to be filled by another region in the country until the lots are all filled. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ENTIRE PROCESS IS BEING MONITORED BY THE FEDERAL CHARACTER COMMISSION as mandated by the Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria. Prev Next |

OTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION Shortlisting will continue until the final physical fitness test or until the target shortlist is met for each State. Where necessary, we will start another round of testing for States that are not meeting their target. The impact of the selection process is that candidates that scored high (70% and above) may think that they should have been shortlisted. They may not have been because someone else in their State that applied for the same job scored higher. This was addressed by the additional shortlisting of the high scorers. A candidate with a lower score from another state may have been shortlisted for the same job because that candidate is the highest scorer for that job from his/her State of origin. This is in line with the application of the Federal Character rules. A candidate with a Master’s degree applying for Security Cadet, Assistant Fire Superintendent, or Assistant Security Superintendent is considered over-qualified and may not have been selected. Next |
