I weep for this administration. As if its not bad enough that foreigners are liberating our territory for us, they can't even come and take it back even on a platter. Shame on GEJ and his supporters. #Cluesless bastards

New york times? Americans? These people should just leave Nigeria alone

Yes they should leave Nigeria alone so that our leaders can continue to finish off the country. If a full blown civil war ever happens again in Nigeria you will be among those people begging for America to intervene.

What is troubling is that if the Chadian, Nigerian or Cameroonian wanted to annex any part of Nigeria viz a viz Russia Crimea, they could easily do it as they seem to have greater military strength than we have at present. I always used to laugh when I read how a small nation like Rwanda could dominate a giant like the DRC but I am not laughing now.

GEJ till we are an International laughing stock!

Sign agreement on no more killings, I will withdraw JTF, Jonathan to Borno elders
March 09, 2013

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan yesterday in Maiduguri, accused Borno State Elders of playing to the gallary over the activities of Boko Haram Islamic sect insurgency in the state, describing the situation as unfortunate.

Jonathan spoke during an interactive session with Borno State stakeholders at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Government House Maiduguri, in continuation of his two- day working visit to Borno and Yobe States, the epicentres of Boko Haram.

He was responding to requests by the Elders for the Federal Government to grant amnesty to the sect members as well as withdraw the military Joint Task Force, JTF from Maiduguri and other areas in the state during the second day of his working visit to Borno State..

President Jonathan lamented that none of the elders in the state had publicly condemned the killings and bombings being carried out by the sect members and advised them to put their ‘’house in order,’’ by talking to their children who had been causing havoc in the country to drop their arms against the country.

Buhari faults crackdown on Boko Haram
JUNE 3, 2013

Presidential candidate for the Congress for Progressive Change in the 2011 Presidential election, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North. He alleged that innocent civilians were being killed in the states.

Buhari speaking during a Liberty FM Hausa Service Programme, Guest of the Week, on Sunday in Kaduna said that Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished unlike the “special treatment” given to the Niger Delta militants by the Federal Government.

Now I am really confused.

The implication of this is that when the Chadians leave and the BH re-group, they will return and this time with deadly venom.

Now this is scary

Only the truth shall set us free. And only the truth will change and transform Nigeria.

There cannot be transformation in corruption and maladministration.
There cannot be transformation without reformation and there cannot be reformation without change from what is bad to what is good.
What Nigeria needs now is CHANGE and then followed by REFORMATION and then the TRANSFORMATION will begin for the nation building of a New Nigeria in the leadership of Africa.

Why the false hysteria!

But the foreign soldiers here said they do not want to occupy somebody else’s country, and worry that the Islamist fighters will simply return if they leave and the Nigerians have not arrived to take over.

Even if BH is Chad and Chad is BH, what is your own country and and leaders and military doing about it? With your sad excuse, are you not even ashamed that a small country like Chad is punking you and your country around like mumu?

I know you people must defend your incompetent and worthless leaders, but please do it with a little sane and rational sense..

The Chadians appear to be hollywood soldiers. They spend more time in front of the press/TV than behind machine guns facing Boko Haram.

i wonder if the fighting in damasak and Gamboru Ngala could have been tougher than the one at Bama, Baga, Madagali, Damaturu, Buni Yadi etc.

However, for most of our kinsmen, we either are not interested enough to even find out the truth or we are too interested in playing politics with every news item and using it to castigate the Government in power.

Well i hope when the elections are over we can learn how to support our own Government (irrespective of who wins)!!!

As for the Chadians, i hope they are ready to host Boko Haram after we have driven them out of Nigeria in the next few weeks!!
