See how a real and true First Lady of Nigeria should be. No wonder his detractors are jealous of GMB. Fayose's wife looks like a man and that is why Fayose prefers to mastur-bate on GMB. And Sheppopotamus beats up her own husband in the bedroom like a man beating up a woman. 2 Likes |

jaybee3: Actually His policies and civil service reforms benefitted my family and those other families in the same profession. (don't wanna give personal details) But that's not my reason for supporting him over buhari as that would be a selfish reason. GEJ is trying. They just don't want to work with him. Too bad. Buhari had his chance. He didn't impress us. In the absence of a new untried person, GEJ gets the vote. |

jaybee3: GEJ is doing his best. Just that propaganda won't let the opposition see it. *Economic growth( needs a text book to fully state all the improvement that occurred under his regime) *Media liberation (important for development) *If we are honest, we will admit that GEJ is the reason why the population can stand up now and question the government. He's the most egalitarian leader NIGERIA has ever gotten. And if the next president after him is like him, there will be a lot of difference and improvement down the line. I do have many reasons and changes I see in Nigeria that weren't there before he came. You na oyibo man so you won't understand. |

jaybee3:His civil service reforms affected me personally. I benefitted from it. Do you remember he was the reason why minimum wage was increased to the paltry 18,000 naira that it is now? Those screaming buhari forgot that civil servants could hardly feed during his regime. That was when the famous Brain drain slogan came up because anyone who could get away from NIGERIA ran as soon as they could to survive outside the country. He's the reason today why USA visa is a cause for thanksgiving in nigerian churches Everybody was leaving droves to escape the harsh conditions. Obasanjo tried at least to make it (wages) 7,500(or something in that range) and then GEJ came and improved it to 18,000. He's the reason why a level 15 civil servant can afford a semi comfortable life compared to the penury that characterized the other regimes. Inflation was the about the same rate as it was then yet the past leaders didn't think the citizens deserved to survive. Investment in Nigeria by other nations is also on the increase because of the growing economy. I don't even want to get into the banking sector. That area saw a 100percent improvement under GEJ. No be lie. You be oyibo. |

cococandy: Which of the reforms? In lay man terms, did you receive more income as a direct result of the reform or it was more of the consistency and ease of retrieval for your folks cococandy: What was it before and how has the change affected low earners in real term. Remember wage increase is usually as a direct result of rise in inflation cococandy:Did he try to trim the bloated civil service to reduce waste and in turn increase efficiency as an economic response to the recession experienced during his presidency? Any responsible government would do exactly the same. People are already experiencing job losses as we speak cococandy:This doesn’t make much sense cos surely if he was the reason then why would the American govt suddenly create a policy that allows people to migrate under the visa lottery program. No responsible government will allow net increase in migration when it’s almost certainly going to affect services they provide for their citizens cococandy:Have you tried to check the present value of OBJ’s 7.5K? I’m sure it wouldn’t make much difference because of obvious economic factors cococandy:OBJ actually bridged more gap between the rich and poor by creating tons of middle class through is economic policies. People are arguably worse off cococandy:Provide me with the real data not the voodoo ones madam Ngozi has been brandishing about the place cococandy: Perception or fact? What’s the value in real term of the stock exchange? cococandy:Please let’s get into it ma’am No Government can achieve 100% improvement The obvious performance indicators as far as banking is concerned are as follows: Accessibility Loan availability In order to achieve 100% suggests all living Nigerian can shout a big Amen to the two KPI above |

Yes. Direct Income was increased. That's what I just said. And ease of retrieval plus consistency. Federal workers in the past used to go on strike because of months unpaid wages. GEJ doesn't owe federal salaries If madam ngozi is giving us voodoo statistics, then at least the rate of investors coming in should be proof. Inflation rate didn't increase more than it was during the obasanjo tenure. Inflation is a bane of most developing societies so it will be present at certain levels so it wasn't excepted to decrease. Yet he made minimum wage over 120% while inflation wasn't more than 50% if at all. Meaning he more than provided for the increase in prices. That 7.5 k does not really have value more than the 18k now. How? Did we experience 120% rate of inflation? I'd personally like more increase but that is by the way. Point is he took it into consideration more than his predecessors. And Yep. He weeded the work force of ghost workers milking the nation dry of tax payers money. Many billions were recovered by that means. Something other leaders over looked as long as they got their own share. I don't have anything against OBJ as a leader even though he made probable worse mistakes than GEJ but he was the beginning of improvement for the average Nigerian family. So I give that to him. Exhales. I don't like arguing Nigerian politics. Hope I addressed most of your points even though not in the order you raised them. jaybee3: |
