It doesn't. There is no notification light. What you have there in front is the light sensor and front camera.

One more thing, the sunlight readability of this phone is quite good.

How long did it take your battery to reach the 62% benchline? Was it from full charge?

It's simple, just download Jumia mobile app from plays tore, launch it, choose Nigeria as your country, it'll take you to the landing page.
Then click the option menu at the top right side, select sign-in, it'll give you the option to create an account if you don't already have one. Start shopping

The light is florescent white , these are the camera features, it has front camera wide angle shots like Samsung Galaxy note 4, it can do slow motion recording like Samsung and iPhone, it can do live photo like HTC m8 that is it can record voice with shot u took, with many other camera snap gestures.
