Since it's a objective, it requires an IQ instead of show workings.

Multiply 45 by 15 and you'll got 675. That's the answer (D)

Lets man = x
Son = y

x + y = 2(x - y) equation 1
x * y = 675 equation2

equation1

x + y = 2x - 2y

x -2x = -2y - y

-x = -3y

x = 3y

substitute for x in equation2


x * y = 675

y(3y) = 675

3y2 = 675

y2 = 675/3 i.e 225

y = square root of 225 i.e 15.

Son is 15

To find father;

x * 15 = 675

x = 675/15

x = 45

It's competitive and last year's cut off was 63.63 for merit.I've checked the requirement for Architecture,u don't need f/maths.All u need is Maths,Eng.physics,technical drawing or fine art and any one of geography,chemistry,economics or biology. And for UTME-Eng,maths,phys and one of chemistry,biology,economics or geography.

Hello luyemee, cut off marl for architecture for merit is 63.63. its competitive. you need to have a high score in your Utme and PUTME to stand a better chance.

Hello IAMSUPERSOJMAN,
you score is OK. at 226, you will have to work hard in your postutme. as it stands now, with 226 you have 28.25. cut off mark for economics is 63.25. your target at postutme should be 35.

go ahead my my sister its advicable cos the cutoff point for psychology last year was 56.25 while that of finance was 59.63 from the look of things u already have 27.63 (221/8=27.63) xo u stand a chance jus need a little effort in the post utme
