PDP NL mods! God forbid! *spits

How many "social media comments" did I see there to merit a front page?

God forbid your desperation to sell Jonathan. Tufiakwa!
You are not a serious person.

If one third of the bashing Jonathan suffers on this forum were to be meted to Buhari, cant you see that fatwas would be issued on the owner of the forum and his moderators?

Can't stop laughing. Edo state is gone o
I just watched the video and I didn't hear her say 'Edo prostitutes'. She talked about 'girl-child trafficking'. There was just one time I heard her use the word 'prostitute' but it was very different from the way some people are saying. This is actually the first time I'm hearing her speak and to be honest, I was quite impressed with the way she expressed and carried herself.

For those who didn't watch the video for themselves, these were her words:
'There must be a design, a cultural design that can accommodate a widow and then a design that will make a girl child feel comfortable wherever she is in this country. She doesn't need to leave her country to go and prostitute elsewhere. It's not her portion.'

Let's try to be fair here.

I don't know how people think again. The cow milk drinking generation that populate the Nigerian youth of today surprises me. Perhaps I shouldn't be cos filial attachment to source of the milk (cow and herdsmen) might explain why we find it readily comfortable to excuse goofs of Buharis and latch unforgivingly to same from Jonathan. For crying out loud, it's not about Aisha saying the 'truth' but about sensibilities of the people she was addressing. An intelligent person avoids touching on sensitive issues like that though veiled connotations can still be made. We'll all see where this leads us all in a matter of days. The future truly appears bleak with this kind of intellectual laziness and flagrant emotionalism pervading the Nigerian social space. Everything is seen through the prism of hate/love, ethnicity, religion. O ga o.

Shut the Bleep up abeg! You Jonathan supporters are the most hateful, disguting, slimy things ever!
What the hell is wrong with identifying problems peculiar to every state she vists?
Did Aisha go to Katsina and say "we are not like them that born shildren troway for Italy?" Aisha identified a problem and talked about it in Edo not in Kano. So what the fucking hell is your damn problem? How can your conscience even begin to allow you compare what Patiance said to Aisha's

Ovbiedo me khin.
I am not and will never be in support of prostitution, but for AIsha Buhari to come out in full public glare to announce to the whole world that the Edo girl child is a prostitute should be rejected and opposed on all fronts. There are special events organized where this social menance can be discussed, not in a political rally. It is an insult and i will play my own part as an Edolite to make sure that our votes do not go to the herdsman called Buhari.
Do you know Edo women undergraduates?
Do you know Edo woman lecturers? Engineers? Accountants? Judges? Magistrates? Lawyers? Doctors etc? Was Hajia talking about this hardworking and successful women? Definitely not.
The message was meant for Edo prostitutes and as a woman Mrs Buhari is in a better position to speak on it. She does not belong to Edo Market Women Association and I do not know of any organized forum that she was invited to speak on female trafficking. A political campaign laying out what an incoming First Lady will do for women, in Edo state , that does not mention prostitution and how to combat it , is a charade. Hajia Buhari was spot on. She deserves our support to root out this shame on Edo women, and, by extension, Edos.

If they're attacking the NEXT first lady for respectfully pointing out the grey area of their social problem that needs to be tackled, it is more like saying they are pleased with the prostitution business.

is prostitution a monopoly of the edo girl child?

Are there not more solution-demanding problems in edo state than prostitution?

It is glaring that you do not have a grasp of politics. Hajia is not contesting for any political office. She cannot speak on the economy or security. She is a mere domestic appendage (apologies to WS) and will only use that opportunity to make life better for women.
Lest I forget, you do not have to vote for Buhari. He is winning , regardless. Do your permutations.

Now listen and listen good. Aisha goes round each state talking problems AFFECTING WOMEN AND CHILDREN in that state. In Edo the main problem is trafficking. In Akwa-Ibom it's toturing children over witchcraft allegations etc.
She doesn't go to the north and make fun of southern problems maliciously. She discusses each state issues in that state. Now please in your church mind, what EXACTLY is wrong with that?

So unless they call you thief, if you are around and people start hiding their purses, you wouldn't accept they were taking you for a thief ?

The Buhari woman had contempt for Edo people whose women she had in mind as prostititutes when she chose that topic of girls and prostitution.

And by the way, why is the Buhari woman making promises she knew she cannot fulfil if any miracle makes her first lady? Does she believe we are stupid?

The head of the being that originated this malicious post need to be checked. What Aisha said was that 'girl child trafficking will be stopped when APC gets into govt'. Probably, u want ur girl child to a subject of child trafficking.

I really find it difficult to believe that an individual that saw the four walls of a tertiary institution is taking the pies in the sky APC and Buhari are parroting serious.

Some would tell you that should Buhari fail to meet expectation, that they would vote him out after four years. Talk of naivety! I don't blame folks sha. Everybody has been carried away with Jonathan's tolerance and permissiveness.

By the time the cabal trying to foist Buhari on Nigeria have their way, all the civil liberties we are taken for granted would be history.

Is she not better than that one shouting people should stone each other?she is addressing issues concerning women not the one advocating for more women to join politics with the sole purpose of serving her husband and aiding to steal?

All this screed equals gibberish if you are not from Edo. Would you go to Kastina and tell them how you will stop child marriage? An unimaginable blunder has been hurled at a tribe and you dare trivialise it? You are as pedestrian politically as Aisha and her crude speech writer.
