I'm a FTM & in my 27th week now, protein was seen in my urine yesterday when I went for antenal, bt my doc waved it aside since my legs are nt swollen & my bp is ok, but I'm worried. Pls wot cld b d cause & how do I prevent it? Tnx & God bless.

I don't think you should worry about it. I am 27 weeks too and about 3 antenatal visits ago, protein was found in my urine but my bp was fine and my legs were not swollen, my doc gave me a sterile bottle that I should bring my first urine after taking my bath the next day and it tested negative, the following antenatal, my urine tested positive again, he gave me another sterile bottle and asked them to culture my urine cos he wanted to be doubly sure and the results showed 'no growth visibl
e', so he told me that the protein found in my urine might because I have been working all day and my v.agina is not clean, so what I did in the last.antenatal was to use some water to wash up before passing out the urine for test and it came out negative and he was impressed that all doubts has.been cleared.

@my classmate burified I have seen the sex of the baby o, and in fact anytime I do scan that's the first thing they tell me. Shopping wasn't easy o, doing final shopping things. I bought Kirkland diapers, based on my elder ones experience with it but thinking of going for prince and princess wipes. How is third trimester going, last time I did scan, weight of the baby was 1.3, is that ok at 27 weeks, mamas in the house answer me o.

It's been a while since I posted here, I have been facing extreme fatigue and feeling baby's weight right down at my abdomen. I can't wait for July my scan says anterior placenta and I don't know what it really means even though I have Googled the term. I pray it's changes position before July. Congrats to all the new mums and more grease to the vigilante mums. GOD bless us all. ..Amen

I have been throwing up everything I eat since yesterday after I got my tetanus shot and took anti malaria tablets.
My morning sickness stopped at 11weeks and am exactly 20weeks 2 days today....
Pls help a first timer.I have not slept since yesterday.

The pain is part of d package, we sure feel it difeerently,the antimalaria tabs cld b a possible cause of the revert/relapse of the ms symptoms. It wil soon pass, pls try kip sumtin in ur tummy. Hope dis helps
