I mean Aba - Ikot ekepene and Umuahia - Ikot ekpene.

I haven't seen anything going on on the aba axis even though I haven't used that route this year. But work is ongoing on the umuahia axis. It just looks kinda weird taking pictures from a public transport, I would have promised to show you the extent when I pass through tomorrow

It baffles me that Nigerians are still growing in stupidity yet claiming the wisest of black race and leaders in Africa. When will Nigerians learn never to accept every thing on its face value and pressurize the idiots you call politicians to deliver. No one talks about issues here rather political parties and individuals.

Senators and law makers are voted into power and for 4 years they have no contacts with you nor clinics nor workshops to interact with the senatorial zones yet they are representing you. WAKE up Nigerians. Zambia sentenced their mines minister to jail for corruption. Nigeria celebrate their corruption profile. People on federal and State payroll using private jets yet no one is investigated and sentenced.
REvolution will only change that place. Look at the road in pictures here i wonder where the educated get in put in place. A nation that has no value for life and property build road without speed and accident barriers. Are there real educated engineers in that land?. Cars can loose control and cross to another lane and cause deaths. Individuals are crossing from one lane to another because those barriers are absent. Do they think of safe of people in their design and construction. Well as usual people will say lets have the roads first but wont mind how many lives are lost due to senseless engineering. Maybe Nigerians dont deserve such standard road construction with drainage flow and speed and accident barriers

If they want state governments to repair federal roads, they should hand over the roads to the states officially and also reverse the revenue sharing formula that sees FG getting 51%

What's the catch for a road of less than 100km that has been under construction for close to a decade?
Onitsha / Owerri that was awarded and started at the same time by Julius Berger has been commissioned and put to use for over four years now.

In a country where they have leaderss that are focused , road construction shouldnt be what should be used for campaigning. , there are serious issues at stake. , anyway can someone tell us the cost of project, they have mortgaged your future finish and u are praising GEJ. Listen Mr progress in governance can only be achieved through collaboration and partnership by all stakeholders. The Federal govt doesn't have all the money in the world so if a state govt can, nothing stops it from working on so called federal roads and claim refunds later. Many states like Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Taraba have done it and were reimbursed to the last kobo.
The FG gets more allocation because it has more responsibilities than states.
